The wedge salad with blue cheese chunks, toasted pine nuts, ranch dressing and warm pancetta chunks was maybe my favorite salad ever. The flavors and textures work really well together. Paired the salad with a wonderful crab cake made with fresh crab (without pimentos, thank goodness!) and dressed with a mild horseradish sauce. The Betty also has a great moody speakeasy vibe. I’ll be back and may also do a staycation in the funky hotel in which it’s located, the Sylvan Kimpton.

Between the live jazz and the view, the ambience was great. Although it was busy, the crowd was not overwhelming. The valet was also a wonder to not have to figure out parking Downtown. The food was good. I am vegetarian and there were plenty of options for me. The make your own Old Fashioned tableside cart experience was awesome along with the Elijah Craig gift bags for all Fathers in attendance. I missed the golf simulator experience. Lots to eat and do. Complimentary mimosas and Bellinis added a classy touch of appreciation.
