La Grotta is tucked away in the heart of the Buckhead residential district and overlooks the lush gardens of the condo courtyard in which it is located. La Grotta literally means "the cave" in Italian and was named such for its cavernous and warm setting. The La Grotta staff is also well known and regarded for its vast knowledge of its customers, the food, diverse knowledge of languages (our staff speaks Italian, Spanish, French & German) and attention to detail. The menu specializes in Northern Italian cuisine with seasonal changes to reflect freshness of ingredients with a focus on locally grown produce.

Antica Posta is in our large circle of restaurants that we frequent, and our last visit was top-tier as always. I have a steak almost everywhere we dine, but decided to follow someone’s recommendation and try the roasted chicken. WOW. Best, juiciest, most delicious chicken I’ve ever had. I can’t recommend it enough. It’s been too many months since we’ve been here, but we’ll head back sooner this time. 10/10

About the restaurant
La Tavola translates to “the table” in Italian—a place where friends and families can gather anytime. Simple yet elegant dishes, classic sauces and creative entrees emphasize the true taste of Italy’s premier ingredients, complemented by a carefully chosen and extensive wine selection.

La Tavola’s exposed brick, dark wood floors and rustic colors give the restaurant its authentic trattoria feel, while progressive touches hint at its innovative cuisine. And with indoor seating for 60 guests, a small bar and an outdoor covered patio for 40 or more, the space is just right for celebrating any occasion together.

Amazing atmosphere! You can’t beat the fun decor. Food was a bit overpriced. Chicken piccata and pasta bolognese were just okay. Menu states NO sharing. Drinks $17.

About the restaurant
Nino's is the oldest, family-owned Italian Restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia. We provide a true classic and authentic Italian dining experience, thoughtfully prepared and attentively served. Nino's Cucina Italiana has a warm, welcoming setting that's perfect for family meals & gatherings. Parking is by valet only. No cash is accepted for bills. Nino's, opened in 1968, has been owned and operated by Antonio Noviello since 1982. Originally from the Amalfi Coast of southern Italy, Antonio worked in Monte Carlo, then Bermuda where he met his wife Helen, an Atlanta resident. After moving to Atlanta in 1981, Antonio's life-long dream of owning his own restaurant became a reality when he purchased Nino's. For more than forty-one years, Antonio has taken pride in serving authentic Italian Cuisine made with fresh, imported ingredients and cooked to order for each guest. In 2006 Antonio's middle daughter Alessandra became the manager and has since taken over with her husband Micah. Alessandra and Micah take pride in keeping the long-standing traditions and reputation of serving exceptional Italian cuisine alive. Nino's has attracted devoted locals who return time and again, along with a long list of who had heard of Nino's reputation and stopped in to sample the fare. Many of the dishes on Nino's menu are original recipes brought from Italy by Antonio and his brother Giuseppe. Antonio's favorite dishes are those named after his daughters, Gabriella, Alessandra, and Michela; his wife Elena (Helen); his brother Giuseppe; his brother-in-law Paola, and himself and the grandchildren. The pasta dish which bears the name of Nino's is a recipe from Mama Noviello. Antonio, Alessandra and Micah invite you to relax and savor some of the great culinary treasures of Italy in a memorable dining experience, at Atlanta's Oldest Italian Ristorante!

Nino's is a long-time favorite. We love their new, bright addition of a beautiful long bar and yellow banquettes, creating a happy vibe. We've known our outstanding server Robin for years, and count on him for honest recommendations. Excellent food (we had the halibut special and the Bolognese) as always, but be prepared - servings are huge!

About the restaurant
Storico Fresco has now fully morphed into a true Italian Alimentari e Ristorante that started in a basement in Atlanta …

We had a dream to bring traditional and nearly lost Italian dishes to Atlanta. The result: Storico Fresco Alimentari, quite simply an Italian grocery store and restaurant in one. We’ve gone beyond and created a true Italian experience for you to enjoy. We use locally sourced ingredients to craft our authentic dishes.
