We had a last minute change from 3 people to 4 people, and I noticed that they originally set up the table perfectly for 3 with the birthday decorations on it. The team quickly and discreetly rearranged the seating to allow for the additional person, and no one in my party even noticed. The service can't be beat here! Shoutout to all the front staff for their outstanding service!

Named after La Jolla’s popular Open Aire Farmer’s Market, Bistro du Marché allows chef Diot to work closely with farmers to incorporate the finest local flavors into his dishes. Led by Cheffe Amélie Gadoum, Bistro du Marché incorporates quality ingredients and rigorous French technique. Signature dish includes Wild Mushroom Ravioli in Port wine Sauce. One of the specialties: Un Coq au Vin "Ivre de Bourgogne" Organic Chicken Braised in Red Wine Sauce, Yukon Gold Mashed Potato, Carrot, Mushrooms.

Bistro du Marché is based on the culinary concept of “bistronomie”, that emerged in Paris. Bistronomie, is a play on words on the concepts of “bistro” and “gastronomie”. It is a form of French cuisine that emphasizes the blending of haute gastronomic expertise, seasonality, and the traditional “cuisine de terroir” found in bistros across France. The youthfulness of the bistronomie movement has succeeded in reinvigorating French classic cuisine, and raised the bar of traditional French bistros.

The best french restaurant in La Jolla. They are happy to split plates so you can enjoy different things and that is great for those with a smaller appetite. Lovely wines by the glass and carafe if you can't manage a whole bottle or want to have different wines with some courses. Excellent food and service.

A.R. Valentien, the signature restaurant at the AAA Five Diamond resort The Lodge at Torrey Pines, features innovative California cuisine served in a breathtaking setting overlooking the Torrey Pines Golf Course and Pacific Ocean coastline. Executive Chef Kelli Crosson uses only the best local provisions, and the menu changes daily depending on what's offered at local farmers' markets, as well as from other local growers, ranchers and fishermen. A.R. Valentien’s sophisticated design includes artwork from the restaurant’s namesake, Albert Robert Valentien, and a spacious outdoor terrace. Special events include the seasonal Artisan Table dinner series and Celebrate the Craft, an annual charity event benefiting The Ecology Center.

Excellent service. Generally attentive. Duck perfectly cooked with mustard greens and grape leaves. Prime rib eye medium rare was excellent as was Pappardelle with lobster. Great desserts

Food, service, atmosphere were all wonderful! I would definitely go again and recommend to friends visiting the area. The restaurant is super cute and cozy. My group of 7 had a fun and delicious experience!

We are a wine shop inside of a restaurant | Dining and design form the perfect union at San Diego's highly acclaimed CUCINA urbana, a California-inspired Italian kitchen and wine shop, located in the heart of Bankers Hill since 2009.

The restaurant boasts comfort and familiarity, welcoming diners to a country farmhouse with the added whimsy of a contemporary art installation.

CUCINA urbana is the originator of the CUCINA retail wine program where each dedicated shop allows guests to hand select wines at a retail price, either to enjoy with their meal for a minimal corkage fee or for purchase to-go. The wine list is comprised of many familiar labels as well as rare and small-batch gems, with an emphasis on Italian varietals.

Arrivederci Ristorante is an authentic Italian restaurant. Arrivederci means hello. The restaurant's name refers to Italian hospitality offered here. It has a decent semi-formal ambiance. The walls are decorated with paintings gathered from different parts of Europe. Antique lamps are hung from the ceilings to add a rustic appeal. Arrivederci specializes in preparing all dishes with authentic Italian recipes and ingredients. Grigliata vegetariana is prepared with a variety of assorted grilled vegetables. Rigatoni amatriciana is prepared with tabular pasta soaked in rich sauce, prepared with tomatoes and romano cheese. Italian bacon topping enhances the flavor. Pollo al funghi is the traditional chicken meal. The boneless breast of chicken is topped with mushrooms. The ingredients are cooked in wine sauce. Arrivederci serves Italian wines and beers.

My wife and I are here based on on- line reviews. We were not disappointed. We enjoyed a 7 selection Tagliero that filled us up and that we thoroughly enjoyed. Our only disappointment was we didn't have room left for one of their beautiful, delicious looking pizzas. So we're bringing our whole family back in 3 days. The warm, friendly service, especially from Gabriel, was a real plus. Can't wait for our second visit.

Good food and service. Nice live music while we were there so it makes it a little tough to have conversation but does not take away from the experience. Drinks also delicious , smoked old fashioned is very good. Nice date night spot. But again the food is very good which is what makes a great restaurant
