We have been visiting Lucio’s for more than 10 years. I almost always order the tuna and my husband’s favorite is the duck. I ordered the brownie for dessert last night. I had been thinking about it all week. So gooey and fantastic! And warmed up!! It is one of the best brownies in the city. So good!!!

We are regulars. Took out of town guests and family for pre-thanksgiving dinner. busy and crowded but Anna did a superb job taking care of a large table quickly and accurately. Made for a very enjoyable time

It is very rare to find a truly keto friendly restaurant. There are many that have keto-ish options, or using a variation of a dish to have a meal, but Ruggles Black has found the way to make a cohesive and excellent soup-to-nuts, appetizer to dessert experience that falls firmly and properly within a ketogenic diet. From the sublime keto crust tandoori chicken pizza, to the excellent brussel sprouts appetizer, finishing with a simple perfect keto Nutella cake and keto lemon cheesecake, there was not a single forkful of anything less than delight. Not a single mouthful went to waste. We will be returning.

When owner Johnny Carrabba set out on his next restaurant venture, he knew his vision would include the fond memories he had of his dear grandmother Grace Mandola. Grace, also known to the family as Mama, was a Sicilian woman born to immigrant parents in Louisiana. She had a flair for cooking, hospitality, and deep faith.

She was known to make bread from scratch every Saturday for her legendary three-hour Sicilian Sunday lunches; and, her newly established family roots in Louisiana added interesting flavors to her home cooked meals. The entire Mandola family, including her five children and fourteen grandchildren, was regularly greeted in her home with smells of warm bread, well brewed sauces and homemade soups. It was around her table that her family learned the true meaning and value of relationships, friendships and good food.
