Desde huachinango y cangrejo azul hasta manteles blancos llenos de estilo, no se puede negar que Gaido's es un lugar único en un mundo de imitaciones. Ahora, después de cuatro generaciones de filetear, freír, asar y hornear, Gaido's se ha convertido en la imagen del lugar perfecto para celebraciones tradicionales: cumpleaños, aniversarios, retiros, reuniones. Siendo la mayor casa de pescado fresco en la costa, Gaido's puede servir hasta a 2.500 comensales felices un día. In 1998, Buddy Guindon, his wife Katie, and his brother Kenny opened Katie's Seafood Market in Galveston, Texas. For more than 20 years now, Katie's Seafood Market has provided the highest quality of products available to its customers. The majority of seafood comes from local fishermen and shrimpers, including Red Snapper, Grouper, Golden Tile Fish, Flounder, Oysters, Shrimp, and Blue Crabs. A producer contacted Guindon in the hopes of doing a reality show about his family business. In 2015, the reality show 'Big Fish Texas' came to life on National Geographic. As a supporter of the local economy, In September of 2019, Buddy opened Katie’s Seafood House, next to the market. Katie’s seafood market supplies the restaurant with all fresh seafood. We take pride in being the only local seafood restaurant on the island that brings fresh fish straight from the boat and to your table.

La comida estuvo muy buena, el sitio es pequeño y por ende muy ruidoso, no lo recomiendo para ir con niños. Me parece un poco caro sólo por el lugar, todo lo demás excelente.

Muy buena opción por el oeste de Galveston; muy buena comida y servicio, recomendable para una cena en familia en un ambiente informal y relax pero bien puesto.
