It is simply the best in Galveston. Vargas or Rudy and Paco. Perfection in every way. Beautiful elegant space, extraordinary service, everything delicious. We had a grouper special topped with crabcake. I hope that special comes back!

We absolutely Love The Steakhouse, we go there at least 3 times a week, from the wonderful Seafood, Steaks, desserts & Cocktails, you can’t go wrong❣️❣️. Most of all we go there because of the Fabulous Service given by John Paul, Lazar & Coleman❣️❣️🏆🏆

We eat here often and it is always great, this night it was for restaurant week and they have a great menu for that. Devlin took great care of us at the bar high top section! We had a wonderful time! Everything on the restaurant week menu is fabulous !

In 1998, Buddy Guindon, his wife Katie, and his brother Kenny opened Katie's Seafood Market in Galveston, Texas. For more than 20 years now, Katie's Seafood Market has provided the highest quality of products available to its customers. The majority of seafood comes from local fishermen and shrimpers, including Red Snapper, Grouper, Golden Tile Fish, Flounder, Oysters, Shrimp, and Blue Crabs. A producer contacted Guindon in the hopes of doing a reality show about his family business. In 2015, the reality show 'Big Fish Texas' came to life on National Geographic. As a supporter of the local economy, In September of 2019, Buddy opened Katie’s Seafood House, next to the market. Katie’s seafood market supplies the restaurant with all fresh seafood. We take pride in being the only local seafood restaurant on the island that brings fresh fish straight from the boat and to your table.
