Krakatoa offers a variety of dishes, including vegetarian dishes exploding with flavor. All of our dishes are unique and cooked to order so they are the freshest possible when they arrive to your table. If you are looking for something new and different come join us in our cozy little restaurant. Experience a little bit of Indonesia not only in our food but our atmosphere where we have brought some items from our travels with many pictures to see and a big map of Indonesia that is sure to spark a conversation. A native of Long Island, New York, Chef Brandon Salomon fell in love with cooking at a young age. After training at The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, he worked at acclaimed restaurants and hotels in New York, Florida and San Francisco. In 2015, he joined Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach, where he played a major role at the signature restaurant, Florie’s, helmed by three-Michelin-starred chef Mauro Colagreco. Now in Fort Lauderdale, Chef Brandon is bringing the flavors of the Mediterranean to Evelyn’s.
