Üdvözöljük a Risoban!
Éttermünk 2011 nyara óta van jelen a budai várnál. A ’Terrace’ szó nem hiába került bele az elnevezésbe, hiszen a vendégek valóban úgy érezhetik, hogy egy másik világba, idilli környezetbe csöppentek, elég helyet foglalni a buja zöld növényzettel körülölelt terasz asztalainál. A kerthelyiség szinteltolásos építészeti kialakítása, a felső részen helyet kapott grillkonyha, a kényelmesen és tágasan elhelyezett bútorzat otthonos hangulatot teremt.

Our guests can indeed feel that they got into another world, an idealistic scene, it is enough to take a seat at the tables of the terrace surrounded by lush, growing greens. The leveled architectural design of the terrace, the higher level of the grill kitchen, the comfortably and loosely placed furniture, creates an intimate and also cozy feeling.

Macesz Bistro is an Eastern European bistro in the Old Jewish district of Budapest. It offers the hidden and well known treasures of the Hungarian and Jewish cuisines, with traditional and reimagined courses for their guests. The continuously updated menu is ensured by chef Ákos Tasnádi, beyond the á la carte assortment the daily offer’s seasonal specialties diversify the selection.

We take great care of assembling the wine list, offering from the best domestic wineries with some specialities.

We reopened Macesz after the pandemic in the spring of 2022. We can not wait to meet again our haunters and new guests as well.

The restaurant is suitable for exclusive events with up to 60 people as well.

Macesz Bistro is one of the most exciting culinary spots in downtown Budapest, an excellent choice for a romantic dinner, a family lunch or a business meeting.

My name is Leo, Your Highness.
We haven’t met yet, but I finally have arrived to Budapest and I would like to let you in some secrets about me, just to make sure you will recognize me when the time will come. I have a very strong feeling about you and me spending this summer together.
So, who am I…
I am coming from a large and highly sophisticated family, but if I am honest I was always the black sheep around. Nothing serious - of course, I mean from my part. :P I am eager to swim against the flow and to do what others may not even dream or think of trying.
I love to travel, to get to know other cultures and people from all around the world. I love to eat…oh my God all those amazing flavors and colors of the world.
So, I highly recommend you not to leave me hanging and meet me at the top of Hotel Clark , where I can show you the most amazing view to our gorgeous city.

Fúziós konyhánkat a japán, vietnami, thaiföldi és magyar konyha inspirálta, kifogástalan alapanyagokból. Egy hely, ahol a gulyás pho-t vagy tavaszi tekercset, első osztályú szatmári szilvalekvárt ölel köntösbe bújtatva.

Az egyetlen baj a VietnámiGulyással, hogy mióta először voltunk nehezünkre esik máshova menni, így kevesebb új helyet próbálunk ki, de őszintén szólva annyira nem is bánjuk.

Hangulatos, elegáns hely. Nagyon finom volt amit ettünk. A kiszolgálás figyelmes, kifogástalan. A pincérhölgy segítségével a bár részbe is feljutottunk.

Egy csapatépítő vacsorán voltunk ott. A fogadtatástól számítva az utolsó pillanatig, profi és nagyon barátságos kiszolgálásban részesültünk. Nagyon figyeltek ránk. Az italok és az ételek is nagyon finomak voltam. 10/10! Külön köszönet Klaudiának! :)
