The Thomas Egerton pub has an enviable location – right in the centre of the busy village of Egerton, and surrounded by breath-taking moorland countryside.We hope you will find the Thomas Egerton the perfect place to enjoy our delicious menu featuring superb food cooked to perfection by our talented chefs.
All our dishes are freshly prepared on the premises and great care is taken to ensure that only the finest locally sourced ingredients are used.
This is complemented by an extensive range of cask conditioned beers, guest beers, lagers and ciders as well as fine wines and spirits.
Children 17 and under are welcomed but due to licensing they must vacate the premises by 9pm.

We are closed from Monday 7th April 2025 to Monday 28th April 2025. We will reopen on Tuesday 29th April 2025 from 16:00. If you are looking to book a table of 5 guests or more during this time, please message us on Facebook/Instagram and we can get this booked in for you. Our restaurant is located at 'Astley Point' upstairs. We specialise in Chinese and Thai cuisine with our extensive menu including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free.
We have a great selection of drinks including cocktails, mocktails, beers, spirits and soft drinks.
Please note when booking: Please count baby’s/children as guests or if you require space for a pram and put a note within the booking request section.
For tables of 5 or more, we would charge a deposit of £10 per person and then this will be removed off the bill, if the entire party arrives. For no shows or late cancellations, you will be subject to a charge of £20 per person that will be applied to the credit card on file.
