Potente is where elegance meets energy in the heart of downtown Houston. Whether you're here for a celebratory dinner or cocktails at the lounge, we combine luxury with a lively atmosphere. Expect rich flavors, beautifully plated dishes, and a vibe that feels indulgent.

Led by Chef Danny Trace, every dish uses the highest quality ingredients and when possible, we source locally. Our truffle pasta was featured as “One of the Best Pastas in the Country” by the Food Network.

We have also been listed as “One of the Most Romantic Restaurants in Houston” by Eater Houston, the Houstonia and Thrillist, as well as one of the “Best Date Night Spots” by the Houston Chronicle and "One of the Most Romantic Bars to Impress Your Date in Houston.”

Join us before or after an Astros game at our bar and lounge. We are just steps away from Daikin Park. Astros gear is permitted on game days only.

Our attire is business casual. Shorts, hats, sneakers, torn clothing and sweat pants not permitted.

CASE Chocolates is the world's first chocolate and cocktail speakeasy. Our tasting experiences take you through fine and unique cacaos combined with high-end spirits and cocktails. Our space is meant to spark delight and joy, and we can't wait to welcome you in soon!

Our promise is a one-of-a-kind journey through chocolates in an unforgettable atmosphere.

Please arrive on time for the best experience. Plan ahead as parking is limited to a small lot and street parking. You must enter through Sampson St., Suite E. No-shows and cancellations less than 24 hours in advance will be subject to a charge of $74 per person.

Each tasting comes with 3 cocktail and chocolate pairings. Tastings start at 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm Wednesdays and Thursdays and 6:30 pm, 8:30 pm, and 10:30 pm Fridays and Saturdays and are approximately 90 minutes per tasting.

In Autry Park, MF Lobster & Ceviche is Houston's only completely round restaurant. The menu features fresh lobster, delivered daily from Maine, and a variety of seasonal ceviches. Menu options include lobster ravioli with handmade pasta, lobster tacos with mango salsa and avocado aioli, and lobster bao with brown butter and chive, just to name a few. Ceviche dishes will vary from season to season and feature lobster, halibut, scallop, shrimp and swordfish.

MF Lobster & Ceviche has 2 dog-friendly patios overlooking Autry Park green spaces. We welcome walk-ins and do accept reservations. We do have an online waitlist available.
