The chef was VERY heavy-handed with the stick of butter placed within my mashed potatoes. It was overkill; however, the food was consistent.

We were two couples from NY in St Louis for two days. The restaurant is in the Hyatt Regency where we stayed. It was the end of a long day and we wanted a light dinner. We requested a table in the bar and ordered drinks and six appetizers to share. Our server Kyle was very helpful, friendly, and attentive. The food was delicious but I didn’t give it five stars because the ravioli came out of the kitchen cold. Kyle quickly corrected the problem and we enjoyed them along with the rest of our meal.

Our last night of our 5 day trip to St Louis and happy we made the reservation at Ruth Chris prior to our Cardinals game. Loved being the first reservation of the day! Perfect salad, steak service and atmosphere.

Took my son for his birthday. Our steaks were excellent as were the lobster, the sweat potato casserole. the shrimp cocktail and the lobster appetizer . Nick our server was personable and professional

Service was phenomenal. Our waiter was attentive without being overbearing and very friendly. The filet melted in my mouth, and the ambience was outstanding. Will absolutely come here again the next time I’m in town.

I celebrated my birthday at Ruth Chris in the Hyatt Regency St. Louis on May 24th, but the experience was less than ideal. Since we were unfamiliar with the parking situation, we attempted to valet, but it was backed up onto the street with no attendant in sight. The manager suggested we use the parking garage, but when I got there, it was full, and it took a while to find another spot. We were seated quickly, which was great, but it took a while for our server to greet us and take our drink orders. I requested Acqua Panna, but it never came. Our salad took ages to arrive, and the bread didn’t show up until 30 minutes later. Our beverages were never refilled, and our plates were left on the table. It took 1.5 hours to get our entrees due to kitchen issues, and we noticed other frustrated guests as well. Just when we were about to leave at 8:45, our food finally arrived. While the food was delicious, the service was not attentive, and we still had old dishes on our table. When we were ready to go, our server handed us the boxes to pack our leftovers instead of packing them for us, which is the usual standard at Ruth Chris. If these issues had occurred separately, it wouldn't be a huge deal, but they all happened during one visit. I hesitated to write this review because I’m unsure if this is typical for this location or a one-time fluke. We’re willing to give it another shot because we love Ruth Chris and have had wonderful experiences elsewhere. The manager did offer a discount, but I believe the whole bill should have been comped. We enjoyed the food, but the service made it a frustrating night.

Excellent steaks (filet, ribeye), cooked to perfection, delicious sides (grilled asparagus, sautéed mushrooms), decadent dessert. Friendly, professional, prompt service . Lovely decor, pleasant background music. A perfect evening.
