There was a cold draft at my table
The food was so much better than our Ruth’s Chris Granger Indiana. Steak was very flavorful. Crab cakes delicious. Lobster bisque and wedge salad were good too.
We had an excellent sunset view of the Arch out the window.
Staff were helpful. Will definitely eat there again if we go back.
I have never been and was really looking forward to it. The place was great, the service was good, but had trouble keeping my drink filled. The sides were delicious. The steak was supposed to be a ribeye. I believe it was a sirloin steak and a bad sirloin steak at that. It had no taste and was tough. I was sooo disappointed. I will probably never go back to any Ruth Chris again.
We had a wonderful meal and Kyle, our waiter, went above and beyond. This was our first dining experience at a Ruth’s Chris and we will be back.

The restaurant had run out of many side options due to recent high traffic and kept coming back to the table to apologize. The steak wasn’t on par with the Ruth’s steaks I’ve had in the past. Waiter was great but starting to wonder about the value of this chain
Server was great. Really enjoyed her sense of humor as well as the service. Our food was superb!
We’re in St. Louis for the Arch Madness basketball tourney and stayed at the Hyatt. The restaurant was convenient and the food was excellent?
Good service as one expects at higher-priced steakhouse; however, all three of our meals were over-cooked. Medium lamb came out well done, med-rare and med steaks came to the table medium well. Usually if it's not cooked to perfect temp at this type of place it comes out slightly under, so this was a disappointing surprise. We were eating with the kids so it wasn't worth the time to send back and by the time the waiter came to check after we were served it was too late anyway. Sides were nothing special either, so in general the food was a disappointment compared with past Ruth Chris experiences. Food gets a B- and don't be surprised when you learn the valet parking isn't free.
The steak and crab cakes were excellent! The portion sizes were large and everything is made in-house. I enjoyed the friendly service and atmosphere too. The cheesecake is a must have for dessert!
It was a great experience. It took a while to be seated even with a reservation. The food was great cooked to expectation. Only serious issue the server.

My husband and I dined here over the weekend. I have to say the price was way out of our norm and only recommend if you have a couple hundred to spend. I was very disappointed in my steak, I should have sent it back as I ordered medium and it came back with no visible pink. That is the reason for only 3 stars. I was never asked how the cook was on my steak. I’m used to having to cut into right as I get it. The crab and asparagus atop the steak was good but was picking shells out of my mouth from the crab. My husband had the filet and it was very good, cooked perfectly. Overall just disappointed in my meal, especially for the price paid.
We had a wonderful waitress, Sasha. She made sure we didn't want for anything. She even closed the curtains to our booth so we could have a more intimate experience. Perfect date night.

Made a reservation for a Valentine's Day dinner. The atmosphere is so relaxing, the lights are dim, which makes for a very romantic dinner setting. Both me and my gf got the 16oz NY strip and it was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. Very interesting cocktails, but I would recommend a wine with the steak. The baked potato is a great side to pair with any steak. If you think about ordering the hashbrowns the portion is huge and more than enough for two people. Our server was great and very friendly. Great place if you plan to go on a romantic dinner date.
Excellent service! Rebeen was a great server and very knowledgeable about the menu both food and drink. He was very thorough in his explanation of the specials as well as his recommendations for drinks!
Awful. No dress code enforcement. Jeans. Jerseys. Gym wear. Might as well have went to the casino buffet for 80 percent less money.
I was not pleased with the service. Firs, we were seated in the back. We were then moved to the front area. It appeared that the top waiter and manager were not happy with this arrangement. I couldn't help but wonder did they think that were were not going to tip.
The service was basic with a slight attitude. Despite this I did tip 20% but I didn't have that birthday celebration I was looking forward too.
On another note the food was excellent and my daughter's liked it more than the Ruth Chris in Chicago.
With that said. I will not be returning or recommending this place EVER!!
The filet I had was not trimmed properly, there were parts left on the plate, not what I expect from a Ruth's Chris filet.
While enjoying the beautiful view of the Arch, we were treated to filet mignon, salmon and other delectable entrees along with shoe-string potatoes, mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes—-see a theme here? Ha! The atmosphere was quiet and our server very attentive.
We went to Ruth's Chris in downtown St Louis on New Years eve. We had driven 6 hrs to meet family on this occasion which happens once a year. After placing our order, the waiter did not bother to check on us, only a few random items were delivered to the table, waited another 45 minutes and our orders never came and wasn't checked on by the server. As I said before, My family and I get together once a year on this date for a special meal, this was absolutely the worst service we have ever received at a restaurant of this caliber. Very unapologetic, had to leave table 3 different times to seek managers help.
We had a fabulous anniversary dinner with plenty of privacy but with the perfect amount of service.
The food was delicious, but maybe the waitress had to many tables, because what should have been 1:15 min. Was 2:30 + and it was just two of us. I felt like most ofthe time we was just sitting there waiting.
not the old Ruth Chris was very disappointed, waiter was ok wife has got the stuffed chicken for years was way over done. My steak was ok. Shrimp cocktails were thrown together in chilled glass cocktail sauce had separated. just not the normal Ruth Chris meal....

Food was fine. Service was excellent. Not many people there so it makes you wonder why. But I will never go back because we had to pay $25 to park below the building for 2 hours. We did not feel safe parking on the street. Our son met us there and parked in the same garage and paid it also. The host said we could have used valet parking and paid less but we were unaware of that deal. Not worth it.
All good, aside from sports TV in our booth. Didn’t realize it could be turned off until end of the meal.
Service was great. Tho we had a waitress was a real team under a super manager Ben Joseph.

Our experience at Ruth’s Chris St. Louis was absolutely fabulous. I was with my wife and her two friends. We all got the Fall Special and it was such a great deal. 3 of 4 steaks were cooked correctly, and the 4th was sent back without any kind of issue. The service was on point. Kyle was our server and he was great. He provided great service with good conversation and a wonderful sense of humor.
So glad we went and next time we go back we will ask for the same server!

I had an amazing time and the food was wayyy better than I expected, so I would definitely recommend this place!
I should have gone to the one in Clayton instead of the downtown location. This location is not really suitable for the prices commanded for entrees at Ruth Chris. When you average $100 a person, you certainly do not want to feel like you are sitting in a sports bar which is what we felt like, the whole time we were there. I should have realized the downtown location is probably more towards the business crowd (sitting by yourself at a bar which there were a few of them on that Saturday night we were visiting). My husband had a fillet which was good, although not as good as other times we visited Ruth Chris at other locations. I had a ribeye and it was quite disappointing. The meat had a strange taste to it (almost like a freezer burn smell), was very salty, and was swimming in melted fat/butter. I probably ate 1/3 of my ribeye and took the rest home for my dog. Ruth Chris has been one of our most favorite steakhouse chains but this last time got us to think if we should have gone to Flaming’s.
On the other hand, service was very good. Drink was good. Caesars salad I had was also excellent.
Overall though, we left disappointed and felt as the meal was certainly not worth what we paid which was close to $200 after tips, for 2.
Our first visit in many years - we made reservations for our 40th anniversary. Superb! Food was wonderful, staff was gracious, just a lovely evening.
As expected food was great, service was exceptional. At this location I would suggest requesting a table in the main dining room, unless you like a sports bar environment while having a gourmet style dinner.
I don’t mind spending $150 for two (we don’t drink), but I expect a great meal and service. I ordered my filet medium rare +. They served it almost raw. Literally. My husband ate while I sat and waited for them to “bump it up”. It came back well done. Awful. My husband was almost done eating. They didn’t offer a discount or dessert. We had to ask twice for a knife. Had to ask for water. I’ll never go to a Ruth’s Chris again. Ever.
Great food and service. A bit pricey though.
