Ruth’s Chris never disappoints in any location. This trip takes us to South Bend Indiana with a great team. Julia our server, prompt and professional took care of us and Sam (Manager) took time to tell us of the weekly programs with wine and specials. The menu always well done with barbecue shrimp and the Stuffed chicken. Thank you and we will return,

The hostess was rude and very dismissive. When I made the reservation in the app, I specially asked to be seated in the bar because my husband wears baseball caps and we were going to be casual. When I arrived, the waiter began escorting me to the dining room. I stopped him and informed him that I reserved the bar because my husband was wearing causal attire, including a ball cap. He then escorted me to the hostess, who appears to be of Asian decent, and she told me that my husband and I could not eat in the dining room if he has a cap on. I told her that I knew that which is why I reserved the bar. She then told me that I didn’t reserve the bar but they could seat me in the room past the bar, outside, but stated, “it’s a covered space.” I told her again that I reserved the bar. She again told me that I didn’t. She was rude, dismissive and couldn’t look me in the eye. Usually, I would leave an establishment when something like this happens but, it was my son’s 25th bday, and he really wanted to be there so I accepted the back room table. The waiter was excellent and he was tipped handsomely.. I do not care for that hostess at all and may not return because of that experience.

Amazing night at Ruth’s Chris! The filet, lobster, voodoo shrimp, and wedge salads were all perfection. Great wine and even better service!

Our server Sydney was on point. This meal was to be a comp diner due to poor service and errors from previous reservation for 2 birthdays. The general manager Chris told us multiple people included that when we com back the meal would be taken care of. HE bait and switched us leading us to believe that. Reality was ONLY apps were taken care of. Which we were not going to order apps but decided to since this was to be a do over birthday dinner. Chris lied to us and ended with a $400.00 bill. He is a poor source of a general manager . This was in Mishawaka, IN.

Steak was over cooked Twice mac and cheese barely any cheese but the biggest problem was it was swimming in milk it wasn't a cheese sauce straight milk 🤮 I ordered 4 sides i only enjoyed one the brussels sprouts and bacon one side I ordered waitress never brought it the hashbrowns were swimming in butter I like butter but damn not that much and it was way too salty this was an unreal bad experience never again

We dined here on the patio for Burgers. The burgers are great. Service and extras were very good. I would comment that the evening was cold and windy. The heaters were on but didn't feel like it. It would help a lot to use the ceiling fans to stir the heated air from the ceiling (where it accumulates) and make the room temp more tolerable in general.

My drink never came, had to ask 3 different servers. None followed up. But the 4th did. Asked for steak with no butter. It came with butter. Server didn't recognize the issue, but said it was the kitchen's fault. Second round of drinks was significantly delayed. Offered a dessert as service recovery. I didn't want a dessert. I wanted what I ordered. Service recovery should be to recover on the services that were ordered, not those that werent.

I have been coming to Ruth’s Chris for years! It’s hands down my GO TO when wanting to impress clients! This evening we had Sydney as our waitress! She is one of the BEST that I have had the pleasure of working with! Her timing is second to none and personality is even better if that’s possible. Sydney makes a great meal even better!!!! Evon has been there for years as well on the management side. She as well as the manager takes great care of all their guest! This is the upper scale GO TO PLACE for South Bend area, you won’t be disappointed in their food or service!!!! THANKS SO VERY MUCH!!!
