    Sat at a high top in the bar area for a casual dinner with a friend. Jamie’s service was top notch. She gave us plenty of time to decide and gave us great tips on order. Highly recommend!

    This was probably the best dinner we’ve had at Ruth Chris. Everything was perfect…it was busy, especially for a Sunday evening. Our waitress had a lot of tables to attend to, but did a great job. The steaks were perfectly done…& hot all the way through. The salad, the bread, loaded baked potato, etc were fantastic! Loved the Wildberry Lemonade…perfect for a hot evening! Truly enjoy the whole Ruth Chris experience. Thank you for making a boring Sunday wonderful!

    Dinner is always fantastic as is the service. The tables could be slightly more private so that’s why I didn’t mark ambiance as perfect. Orlando was our server. I’ve had him several times. He is simply excellent at what he does and has such a cute personality.

    We ate on the patio which is a very comfortable environment and you can order from the bar menu as well as the regular menu. Service is always outstanding as well as the food quality and quantity.

    Ruth's Chris Steak House in South Bend is consistently one of the best restaurants in the area. The food quality never is less than exceptional as is their service. I have eaten at this restaurant chain in a number of cities in the country and the South Bend establishment is one of the best that I have visited.

    Everyone was friendly and professional. Our waiter Chris was very attentive and friendly, those helping to serve were nice and helpful as well. The porterhouse for 2 was excellent. An enjoyable evening.

    Our over-sharing waitress seemed to want to tell us more about her life and tough day, as opposed to letting us relax and enjoy our special family gathering. It seemed more like we were dining at an Applebee's than a fine-dining restaurant. Food was good, as usual, and the prix fixe offerings provide decent value.

    The wife and I had a nice dinner, her filet was perfect, my sea bass was very good. Nice bottle of wine. The waitress was very talkative….maybe a little too personal, but it didn’t bother us too much. They didn’t have the single malt I ordered and brought me a substitute with asking if I still wanted it, I believed it to be a less expensive version and expressed that but the manager said they wouldn’t give me a discount. I thought it was a little petty. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our dinner and would return for another try.

    Ruth’s Chris is one of our favorite places to eat. The service is outstanding, every dish we’ve ever ordered is delicious and cooked to perfection. We love the relaxed atmosphere and very friendly staff.

    We’ve been here many times and enjoy the wonderful steaks and high level of service. We’ve never had anything but fantastic service and steaks are always on point. The portions for appetizers and sides have significantly reduced, but prices keep going up. This is more of a special occasion place and not normal restaurant for us. Great job on providing high quality service and perfectly cooked steaks! Just seems like every time we go the bill grows will portions shrink.

    Had a special evening out on the reopening night from the renovation. Bree was a excellent server. She was very personable.Food was fantastic. Only issue was the blinding glare from the sun as blinds did not arrive in time for the reopening. Definitely will be back.

    Food-delicious except for Lobster Bisque. The taste was burnt and bitter—sent it back. Waitress rushed us and interrupted our conversations not only when she came to our table each time with her nonsense chatter, but in the middle of us giving her our Food orders. She behaved as if she were there to entertain us, all of which I found very rude. We enjoyed sitting to talk after dinner but noticed ALL the wait staff standing nearby in a group, watching us. THAT was probably more rude. A $400 dinner for 3 and they stand impatiently, showing us they want us out. It was 8:15– you close at 9:00. Wait Staff should be part of the background, serving without constant drivel and vocal interruptions, and certainly not huddled in the dining room staring at customers to hint at leaving.
