The food was very good. The service was not as good as we have previously experienced. The server was very helpful but he appeared to be spread to thin for the number of tables he had to service. We observed that the number tables he was assigned were spread out across the dining room area which appeared to cause the issue. When he was at our table he was very helpful and friendly. This will not prevent us from returning as this is one of our special occasion places to go.

We had a lovely and delicious meal at Ruth Chris. Our server, Jameel, was so friendly and very professional. He offered to take photographs since we were there for our 30th anniversary. He took some pictures of the table with the rose petals and happy anniversary sign. He then took pictures once our meals arrived. He was very knowledgeable about the wine list and made some great suggestions. He even offered us some samples when we were trying to decide between two wines. My husband's ribeye was perfectly cooked, of course. I had the crab cakes which were definitely mostly crab with very little filler- wonderful and high quality. There were several other couples celebrating anniversaries as well, and Jameel was their server. He is truly an asset to Ruth Chris in Savannah. I hope we will be seeing him again on future visits. I would go back just to see him.

I hate to be a complaining diner but if you like your steaks cooked to a certain temperature, this may not be the place for you. Although the steak had a good flavor, it was not cooked to my choosing. The tuna appetizer tasted like it was from a food purveyor rather than fresh. Service was outstanding and Elijah was very attentive. Food did not meet what I thought would be Ruth Chris standards.

Fantastic evening and anniversary celebration. From a warm welcome to Josh’s attention to detail and service was impeccable! Every aspect of our meals were outstanding. The classic filet and ribeye cooked to perfection. Wine list was excellent as well. Thank you for a delightful evening which will be memorable in our coming years.

Ate in the lounge. Excellent server and bartender. They were not busy. Ordered 6oz truffle filets. Asked for med/rare got med/well. Partner ordered med got very well done. Probably should have sent them back but didn't. For being over cooked they tasted Ok. Manager gave us a free desert... did the same on our last visit. Would rather have the steaks done properly free desert doesn't make up for overdone steaks
