Big Fans of Ruth's Chris Steakhouse! Always consistent, always delicious and always excellent service! Love the BBQ Shrimp Appetizer; Chopped Salad and ordered the Filet Mignon, cooked to PERFECTION! Creamed Spinach and French fries also wonderful. Perfect for Pre-Theatre meal!!

Food and service was great, as usual! Our steaks were juicy and well seasoned, and you can never go wrong with the brussel spouts and sweet potato casserole. So so good! Management always comes over to ensure everything is going well, which is a plus. Sorry I forgot to take pictures.

The food was excellent as always, I felt for nearly $80 the seafood tower was lacking in the amount of actual pieces of seafood there was a whole lot of ice. Our server messed up our drink order and when we arrived we were asked on 2 occasions if we were celebrating anything special I said yes my husband’s birthday! Unfortunately nothing special was done for him so after spending $1,100 dollars on our Birthday dinner I didn’t feel that it was an excellent service

Always an amazing experience. We were asked if it was a special occasion. We mentioned it was a mini honeymoon as we had been married tht weekend prior. At the end of dinner, our server brought us dessert on the house. It was amazing and thoughtful as it ALWAYS IS HERE!!!

My husband and I come here all the time and we usually have a great 5 star experience but this time we did not experience that 5 star service. The server that we had was rushing us through the whole dinner. We were walking to the table and getting our kids situated and she came and kept asking what we wanted to drink when we hadn’t even sat down and got comfortable yet!! We asked for waters and she quickly went and came back and proceeded to ask us what we want to eat. We haven’t even looked at the menus!!! We told her 3 or 4 times that we needed some time. She didn’t even go through the special menu options that they have!! We ordered some appetizers and as we are eating the food comes out! We didn’t even get to enjoy the appetizers. When the food came out my husband was telling her she rushed the dinner coming out and she completely ignored him and walked away. My son has the kids meal and she didn’t even bring out his dessert or offer it until I told her. We didn’t finish our plates and asked for them to go she then went and never came back again!!! She never brought the food she even sent the bus boy to hand us the check! We forgot about the food and went downstairs and then finally realized she never returned. When I went back up when I realized I forgot the food the manager went to go check on it and she brought the food and acted as if she didn’t know if we got the check or not!!! Overall worst customer service possible. Makes me not want to go back there again. People go out to dine to relax and enjoy there time not to be rushed into eating and drinking.

I have never had a bad meal at Ruth Chris.
After we sat down waiter ( fantastic!) told us they were out of calamari ( our favorite appetizer ) and no longer making crab cocktail or our favorite skinny fries ( they said due to COVID which sounded silly as we got fatter fries). Also took basil martini off menu and other bartenders there would make us one anyways but wasn’t offered to us .Steaks were good and Mark was a great server .

Outstanding food as always. Unfortunately just took forever to get our food.
Cowboy ribeye was cooked as asked. My wife’s Petite ribeye was asked to be cooked medium well and was more medium rare. The were accommodating and did a table cook, attempted to finish cooking on the 500 degrees plate. Everything was still really good though. They gave us a little discount as well.
We used to love coming to Ruth’s Chris for dinner. On this occasion, we were seated by the bar. It was a little less noisy but the ambience wasn’t great. The tomahawk steak we ordered was very salty and undercooked to our liking. The cost of the food has gone up a lot. We spent over $300 but it wasn’t as good as we had hoped for.
We had a great time the food is always consistently good.

My wife and I were celebrating an anniversary and the host and wait staff went out of their way to congratulate us. Food was amazing and the bread pudding is a must for dessert.
It has been several years since I have been to a Ruth's Chris, and I must say I was blown away by the food and service. The restaurant was extremely busy, but that didn't impact our level of service, the speed of the food coming out, or the execution. It was flawless to say the least. The only downside is that this location is starting to show it's age. It needs some significant remodeling to keep up with the local competition.
There was no personalized “Happy Anniversary” menu or card as shown in photos online. (Although two employees did say HA ).
We ordered the chateaubriand/lobster tails. Medium Rare! The centers came out RAW! Sent back. Then it came
out WAY too well. DISppointment! The lobster tails were very salty.
Prices are too high. We ordered a side of mushrooms. $13. (Over what was included). Really? The AuGratin potatoes were not sliced but cubed.
The food felt like cafeteria food. It was tasty but not anything to write home about. It felt industrial vs fresh. The WA Cabernet left a lot to be desired. I should have ordered the small glass because I didn’t care for the taste. The other cabs were too $$$$
Then we were supposed to get two chocolate sin cakes. They brought only one because they brought a personalized HA bread pudding. Would rather have had what I was supposed to. and expecting.
Staff was personable. Dinner was ok. Not amazing. I would be ok with the prices if the food and experience were amazing. It was not a good value.
If the chateaubriand was cooked correctly, I could have lived with the other negatives and been happy. Thank you.

We also missed getting the special little dessert remembrance of our special occasion. Don't know if that's a new policy, or the waiter just forgot.
The overall ambiance was great! I would visit again. I was satisfied for the most part.
We ordered the lobster and filet for two. It came with two salad options house or caesar or a lobster bisque and two sides mashed potatoes and in place of the cream of spinach we chose to have asparagus. $180 was the price which was way too much for the quality you get. The Cesar salad I had was good, the lobster bisque was over creamed and Luke warm and was below average in taste. The lobsters were small maybe an 8oz tail, you can taste the freezer burn and were served mushy, but tasted ok. The presentation was terrible they bring you a small plate to eat your lobster with the plate largely occupied by a butter trough. Once you eat your lobster the waiter grabs the lobster shell so you can now eat your filet on the small lobster plate. Keep in mind you have a butter dish occupying a large amount of the plate, there are definitely better was to present the meal. On a separate dish came 4 what seem oversized filets portions each were cooked to a different temperature and not as requested. There was so much filet left over, we were full. The mash potatoes appear to be instant potatoes and were not fresh. The asparagus was over cooked (not crisp) and were mushy. The atmosphere was occupied by shouts from the bar and the dinning room for the Padres game not really what I planned for 22 anniversary dinner. Ruth’s has really gone down hill and is over priced for the quality received. I will not be returning.
They put us in a dark corner with no light. Like if I’m going to pay $200 for a meal, can you at least pay your light bill!?!

The hostess were super sweet and welcoming.The Bartender (AJ) was also great loved the blueberry mojito. Food was flavorful and worth it. Probably my favorite dining restaurants of all time.
Love the service, but I swear to god every-time I come, my steak comes undercooked. I even asked for it medium this time (even though I like medium rare) just so this wouldn’t happen, and it came back raw 😭 the manager addressed it perfectly but this is probably the last time I’m coming here u til they fix this ongoing issue of serving undercooked meat.

Ruth’s Chris never disappoints! It’s our favorite restaurant in San Diego, our go to for special occasions. Birthdays, anniversary, even my husband’s annual Christmas dinner for work. The drinks are delicious every single time, especially the raspberry cosmo! The food is always amazing!! Our favorites are the filet, loaded baked potato, stuffed mushrooms, chopped salad, spicy shrimp & the creme brûlée is heaven!! The service is always top notch! Everyone is always SO friendly, helpful & attentive! They always make it a point to make us feel special and welcomed! The views are beautiful here too! We love having dinner with a sunset view so we like going around 6pm. I can’t speak highly enough of this place! HIGHLY recommend Ruth’s Chris!!

Ruth's Chris never disappoints. The steak is melt in your mouth delicious no matter what cut is your favorite. The plates come out at 500 degrees sizzling and delicious. The side are family style so you can try a few different things. Great portions. Always a great date night dinner.
