    Beautiful sunset views from the restaurant...easy access to downtown SD from the ferry boat coming from Coronado...nice steak selection...the kids menu filet is not the same as the grown up menu...huge difference in quality of the meat and taste...we will skip the kid menu next time.

    Shoot I have forgotten our servers name. He was amazing. I don't think I've ever had a server that nice and he really made the night. The other service people were all nice . Thank you.

    Eugene was our server and he was kind, informed, helpful, and warm. It was a memorable night for us indeed. We had a great booth and enjoyed the stuffed mushrooms for appetizers and though I'm not normally a red meat eater, I made an exception. Based on Eugene's recommendation, we shared a large porterhouse accompanied by a delicious sweet potato casserole (more on the sweet side) and asparagus. Mid way thru I requested garlic mashed potatoes to balance the sweet with savory and voila!! We rounded out the night with crème brûlée and cheesecake which was phenomenal. When you go, do yourselves a favor and request Eugene. It will elevate your dining experience to a memorable one indeed.

    Just wasn't as good as in the past. Despite reservations, had to wait 30 minutes to be seated and only after I got up to ask them WHEN. Steak was so so. Waiter was great.

    We attended the Tastemaker event sponsored by Daou Vineyards and they did not disappoint. The food and wine pairing were amazing. These dinners are a much better way to enjoy Ruth’s Chris than the regular restaurant. If you’ve never tried them, you’re in for a treat!

    Delightful evening with beautiful sunset Robb was our server and went above & beyond helping us achieve a perfect date night!! Starting with dos agaves margaritas & champagne we shared Ruth’s signature classic Rib Eye & lobster tail , lobster bisque with cream spinach All Delicious!!! Dessert was cheese cake & chocolate cake Amazing!!!! We will be back soon

    This was our first time at Ruth’s Steakhouse. We celebrated our 28th Anniversary dinner and it was a wonderful experience. Our server, Liz, was absolutely the best! She explained to us the menu, what to expect, checked in on us at the right times during our meal. All the staff was very nice and professional. Thank you Liz and everyone for a wonderful anniversary dinner!!

    Great Steakhouse , meat is always amazing buttery melts in your mouth , the service is great as well very friendly and welcoming been here about 6 times and every time it tastes great , it’s a little on the high side but the quality of the food speaks for itself.

    Our bartender/ server Gillian was amazing, we were there on a Friday night & ordered some food / drinks. Everything tasted good BUT the lobster bisque soup, 4 out of 5 stars for the meal portion of it. Thanks Gillian!!

    Service and food is always dependably perfect for special occasions and sometimes I’m surprised over and above. Last night was second time I was waited on by Sergio and he and Ruth’s exceeded beyond expectations. They have kept inflating prices to a minimum in comparison to others. Nothing to add that was anything but top notch.

    I will never visit this location again. My party of 4 waited 45min past our reservation time to be seated. Kept asking the rude hostesses how much longer we would be waiting. Their response was a just a few more minutes without even looking at their list. When a new hostess came to the station, she could not find our reservation after scrolling. She alerted the manager there was something missing and showed him there was no reservations. Once he finally figured it out, we were seated and assured we would be well taken care of. We had nothing more to worry about, he said. They were going to make it right. The manager gave the excuse of tables staying longer than two hours but this was not true because everyone waiting was seated before us. The hostesses lost our reservation and had no concern whatsoever we brought our concerns to their attention. The manager apologized and said he would make it up to us and “take care of us” … we never saw him again. Big surprise. If the manager does not care about the customer, why should the hostesses. Our server was decent but nothing stood out and definitely no rush on getting our food and drinks out any faster. Warning, poor service, not enough employees and management doesn’t know how to handle a dinner rush. Be prepared to waste you time with your money here.

    Our reservation was for 7pm, but we weren’t seated until 7:45. The hostess told us we were next, but sat two parties of 3 before us. Their reservation was for 7:30. We had to pay extra for valet since we were so late. Overall: the food and service was good.

    We always go to Ruth’s Chris because of the consistency of the food and service. We were disappointed with the ribeye and the filet. I always get the Cowboy ribeye and it was chewy and filet was not tender and had a lot of non edible pieces. The ribeye also was not as hot as I would have expected. It seemed like it had been sitting around and cooled off then placed on the hot plate before serving. Service was great! I hope it was an off night.

    Hard to get reservations but accommodated us even if we were a little late cuz of traffic. Great food and birthday celebration for grandson. Think these are best steaks in town

    Dinner was great, waiter good. Couple negatives. Booked couple weeks before and Asked for window table as taking my brother and wife for my bday dinner. Ended up with inside table up by bar. Parking seemed ridiculous. 18 to valet. If you exceed 2 hrs. Another 10. After paying 460 for dinner 100 tip to waiter, needing to hurry at hour an 55 minutes because about to add additional charge for parking seemed almost ridiculous. There are other good restaurants.
