I’m not sure the restaurant anticipated the Mother’s Day push and staffed accordingly. We had 2:15 reservations and got seated after 3PM, which missed the Mother’s Day’s menu. The food took a long time to be severed and it was average. This Ruth’s Chris is not as good as others I have eaten at.

Ruth use to be the Truth when it came to excellent food and great service. Sorry to report the steak was burnt black on the outside, not seared but burnt. Which made it extremely tough. Salmon was dry. The lobster Mack & cheese, looks like Kraft Mac & cheese and was soupy. I had to ask for the table to be cleared of dishes after each meal. I’ve been praying for improvement since 2020. I still had a good time with my family. The waitress made the best of it, kudos to her.

First of all - we haven’t been to Ruth’s for over 12 years. We were promptly seated and requested the sommelier open our 1995 Bordeaux we had brought with us. Our server was brilliant, attentive and personable. She got the sommelier over and he expertly opened and decanted our wine. Champagne round on the house, we ordered cocktails and our steaks. Drinks were great - they were happy to have us sit a while as our wine decanted before taking our steak orders. Steak and sides arrive - super hot played, hot steaks, porterhouse for 2 was perfectly cooked, sides were good although I recall the gratin being a lot better then the chopped potatoes and cheese we were served. Regardless the food was superb and we finished off with complementary desserts. Fabulous service, fabulous food, fabulous drinks. We won’t be waiting 12 years for our next visit!

We were celebrating our 47th anniversary. We had a lovely server. Enjoyed our outstanding, awesome dinner and received a complementary cheesecake dessert that was yummy. Also a champagne toast when we first came in. We’ll be back for the next celebration.
