I dined with a party of five for a birthday celebration. Everyone's food was quite enjoyable, except for mine. The cowboy steak was much less than expected. It was thin and appeared like nothing more than a bone in ribeye. I expected it to be like a true cowboy steak, thick, and properly cut in the cowboy steak style. We let our server now that the steak was less than appropriate. But the other food was very good.

I’m disappointed on how things turned out. It was a great evening we were celebrating our friend’s birthday and at the end the server had an issue with our party of 6 paying separately (3 checks, 3 couples). Stating she couldn’t separate the checks but could take 3 payments. We’ve been coming here for 9 years! Birthday celebrations, anniversaries, couples date night and have always been able to pay separately!! I asked the manager for an answer and just stated it’s the policy and that it’s on the menu. I don’t care for the gratuity i know that it’s automatically added to parties of 6 or more i get it! I know that! Because I’ve done this for the past as i stated before 9years! I’m upset and just frustrated at the fact that the manager couldn’t give me an honest response. We know what we ordered, we know what we ate, and all we wanted was for each to pay their own check! Now why was that so hard to do? I have so much more to say because i am so frustrated but you know what… it’s above me now. Have a blessed day.

Ruth’s has consistently good food. Our service on this particular night was a bit off. For example our table wasn’t cleared from our apps before our main course arrived, our wine glasses weren’t refilled (we did it ourselves),server didn’t stop to check on us we had to fine her. These are little things but for the price of the meal they shouldn’t happen.

The service and food was some of the best I’ve ever had. U 100% recommend going here to try. The lighting isn’t the best, and the BDX room was a little too packed for my preference. The Sonoma room will be a request next time it looked smaller and more private. Either way for someone who doesn’t like a lot people in a smaller area it still wasn’t terrible. The price is very high, but the QUALITY IS VERY GOOD as well. My wife and I went on our 11th anniversary and it was worth every penny. Eric was our waiter and was very informative about the menu and what to be aware of. He is what made us put a 5 star for service. Thank you all for make special night even better.

Do not allow hostess to seat you upstairs in the zero ambiance banquet room (church basement). 5 day advance reservation gets you nothing. Same prices of course. Very disappointing. Celebrating my wife’s 69th birthday. Ruth’s Chris failed miserably.
