Wesley was great. Celebrated 2 birthdays. Out of a few things on the menu. Most of which is what we wanted to order. Appetizer, entree, all the was to a cappuccino. That was very disappointing. But over all the food was great
We were celebrating our 51st Wedding Anniversary so it was a wonderful meal, service & ambiance.
We always enjoy our time at Ruths. The food is always great and so are the people. Barb was our server and she awesome as always!!

We have been to Ruth's numerous times and have always enjoyed our meal. However, last night it was less then subpar. The garlic mash potatoes were bland, the lob Mac and cheese was not cheesy and the breadcrumbs on top were not cooked. The steak was overly salty. Just so disappointed.

As usual service was excellent. The portertouse for two was a terrible piece of meat. The strip-side was so tough we could barely cut it with steak knives because it was full of sinew. Ruth's was very accommodating and brought us two filets to replace the inedible meat.
Good food accompanied with poor service is a waste of time and money.

You can’t to wrong with Ruth’s Chris. Food was on point as always. Prices are on the high side but its worth every penny! Ribeye and lobster mac are our favorites. Very large selection of wines as well. Don’t forget bread pudding but make sure to add ice cream :)
Bad experience this visit. Early reservations New Year’s Eve. First ones there & last to be seated. While there was no take out that day, a pushy customer came in & grabbed the manager to as for one Even that customer with no reservation was accommodated before we were even seated. Next, they sat us in one of the upstairs dining rooms where all we heard was glasses and dishes clanging. Everyone that was seated after us in our area received bread. We were told ours was burnt & that is why we had none. Our food came before our bread ever came out. The food quality was good but based on the bad service we were disappointed & probably won’t be back.
Missed reservation due to flight delay. Arrived at 9:20. Informed kitchen closed at 9:00 pm
My husband and I typically frequent the Ruth’s Chris in Lafayette, LA, but gave this one a try on a business trip.
Tuna appetizer was not so good; the chips with it were also a bit stale. My husband said his tomahawk steak was great. However, my steak was not cooked to my liking. Nevertheless, my two favorite sides, potatoes au gratin and creamed spinach, were on point as usual. Service was excellent. Frank was a fantastic server! The manager was also very friendly and brought Chef Zack out to meet us since we mentioned that we usually eat at the Ruth’s Chris in Lafayette and it was the Lafayette chef working in Metairie that night. My husband and I had an overall really great date night mostly because Frank was so fantastic.
Lost some it’s luster. Service was excellent even given the limited number of people working. Anne-Marie was genuine and attentive, a true gem. Unfortunately each of our steaks came out with inconsistent temperatures - not uniform nor what was ordered. Overall, a good experience just not a great one.
Birthday for granddaughter. They had sprinkles on the table and gifted her a chocolate dessert. The service was excellent as was the food

My family went here for my birthday dinner and it was hands down the best experience. Our server, Chase, made sure we were taken care of all night. Everyone ordered steak and they were cooked to perfection. The sides, desserts, and cocktails were delicious as well. I highly recommend the pomegranate martini!
The service was awful! The food was not prepared to our liking and was cold! They didn’t have what we went there for, brussel sprouts or crème brûlée. The manager came over and argued with us saying “it was Christmas, what do you expect?!?” The server let is know that they over booked for the amount of staff they had available. It was awful!

Dinner and service was fabulous. The staff was incredibly joyful for Christmas Day.
Accommodating even with us arriving early and waiting on a guest.
I appeared as scheduled. The restaurant decided to require those with reservations to huddle together in an anteroom. No masks. No social distance. No checking proof of vaccination. I left before being seated because I thought the conditions unsafe.

Always a great Steak. Service was a bit strained I am sure due to a shortage of workers. Menu has changed a bit. Shoestring potatoes no longer on the menu, they say because they can't get the blades to cut them right. That seems like a crazy excuse. Certainly there is someone out there that would be happy to make blades for them.
Will still always go back, as they do a really nice job all around.
Wonderful meal in a fun and festive atmosphere with so many celebrating the holidays.

We were a party of four therefore our wedding anniversary. I advised server of my shellfish allergy with request to separate the steak and lobster, as my wife would eat the lobster. They brought it out without separating. By the time my steak was returned, the rest of my party was finished, and they had to wait until I finished. Food not quite as enjoyable under those circumstances.
They apologized, but not quite the same.
I had the steak and it was the worse steak I’ve ever had. It was overcooked and not tender at all. The waiter brought me another steak that was so undercooked that I couldn’t even eat that one either. It was a very bad cut of meat. The only good thing that night was the cheesecake that I ordered to go.

Very good food and service
It took us over an hour to be seated for our 715 reservation. Did not sit till after 8.
The lunch special was not as good as it used to be. I'm not sure that the 6 oz. filet was prime meat. It was tough. The service was not as I was accustomed to. Drinks were given to the wrong person and my plate was turned sideways so that I could not cut my meat. I used to give this restaurant a great rating but something is definitely not correct now.
