   While a very pricey menu, the value is there considering the quality of the food and the service. We went for our 15th wedding anniversary and had a great time. The server was very knowledgeable, the staff was very efficient and the time between courses was perfect for us to enjoy the night out together. We will definitely return for another celebration!

   Our 20th Anniversary could not have been better, Ruth Chris's made sure of that. Between the outstanding and personal service rendered by the entire staff from the waiter to the manager we thoroughly enjoyed our special evening.

   It's always a pleasure to dine at Ruth's Chris, but last night the kitchen/chefs were much slower than usual resulting in too much delay from the kitchen. It was noticed by many of our other friends also dining last night, Darden Restaurants better wake up. There are other fine restaurants in Lafayette. Thanks.

   I think our server was new. We dine there regularly and haven’t seen her before. We asked her to take a birthday photo and she said she was busy with other tables. We didn’t see much of her as bus boy delivered our food. She came back to ask if the birthday girl wanted to upgrade her dessert. We will make sure we don’t get her next time.

    Generally we enjoy Ruth’s Chris for special occasions once or twice a year. This was Mother’s Day dinner. Drinks came out in a reasonable amount of time, salads were delicious, but steaks (3 petite filets) not really as requested. Waitress said Medium + would be pink throughout but not bloody. They came out with little pink and almost cooked throughout. The third steak was requested to be Medium and definitely pink throughout but it came out slightly pink and mostly cooked through. Also, all 3 steaks came out WITHOUT hot, sizzling butter! The waitress did notice that and took them back to the kitchen for the butter. Taste was not compromised and we will definitely go back.

    Our dining experience @ Ruth's Chris is usually outstanding all the way around. On Mother's Day the hostesses were really busy. Having said that, we waited at least 15 minutes for our table, which we would not have gotten, had I not spoken up.

    The kitchen was apparently understaffed. It took over 45 minutes from finishing our appetizers to receive the entrees. We did not receive everything we ordered, and our teenagers' fries were overcooked. We made the mistake and allowed one of the kids to order a dessert...another 25 minutes. Very disappointed.

    Me and my mother went recently to celebrate her birthday. Our server Jessica was very pleasant and made us feel taken care of. I especially enjoyed how the hostess and our server acknowledged my mom’s birthday. I also liked that they wrote “Happy Birthday” on her dessert. The food was delicious and my steak was cooked perfectly as well. My lobster was slightly overcooked but given the service and overall experience, it’s not something that was a deal breaker.

    We enjoyed our dining experience and we were surprised by the portions of the sides we ordered. Very generous portions. Side salads were huge as well. Crab cakes were prefect as always. You guys have the best crab cakes out all the restaurants we frequent. I haven't found one yet that is as good.

    Delicious filet and ribeye as well as amazing Sea Bass with wonderful salads and sides. Our waiter, Lane, did a fine job. All 6 of us were pleased with the experience.

    I must admit I have heard how good this place was but to experience it for the first time I was absolutely blown away at the total experience. The total experience was amazing because unlike most other restaurants they didn’t try to rush food out and let you actually enjoy the drinks, appetizers, main course, and dessert as each individual items without stacking the table with all the food within 20 min of each other. I will definitely be back!!! Ruth Chris has gained a new patron!!

    On Vacation decided to try this restaurant (4/13/23 @4p) after hearing good things about this food chain and it was horrible. We waited a very long time for our food, to get a very expensive Tomahawk steak that was soaked in butter with no seasoning flavor and very tough. My father in law’s ribeye was the same way! That’s even ordering it medium rare! I wouldn’t recommend this place honestly. You can go elsewhere and get a way better steak for less money and it not be saturated in butter! Menu needs to state that description. We had our waiter bring a trainee then just left her to take care of us on her third day! There was no presentation or good experience to even consider this a high end steak house. I chose to walk out with our party of 4 spending over $440 not saying anything because the new hire was so kind she didn’t deserve to have a complaint when she trying to learn and was just thrown out there. Very disappointed!

    The service team ( hostess &waiter) were absolutely phenomenal! The food however not so much. The sweet potatoes were exceptionally dry; could barely taste the pecans, and crust was obviously burnt. The Mac and cheese was more macaroni than cheese. Not this location again!
