This is our first visit for 4 years. Our friends kept telling us we needed to return. So we went today...made a reservation for 4pm. I highly recommend reservations..although they are easier at 4pm by 6pm they are packed. We had a waiter name JORDAN. We have eaten in some of the finest restaurants in NY and LA. Jorden impressed us as very skillful and he paid attention to every detail and executed our wishes flawlessly. He's a real asset and hard to find in these days of post-COVID idiocy. We had the NY bone-in steak..it's a PRIME cut and was everything we expected and more. We split it between the two of us because 16 oz is about 8 more ounces than we can eat. There are lots of interesting steaks on the menu we want to try...next time. We had the crab cakes as an appetizer. Not a big hit for us. These were excellently prepared but are just a matter of taste. We had the bread pudding desert with vanilla ice cream and I highly recommend this with this particular dessert. Our ratings are: - service A+ ... the manager visited the table - food A - ambiance....A...the noise level at 4pm was very pleasing (we hate noisy) - reception...B...we arrived first but were early, they open at 4pm on Sunday...but we had to sit and wait while others were seated - help A....the various folks who brought our food and took away our dishes were friendly, spoke English well, and went out of their way to be helpful (good training makes for a great restaurant)

Always enjoy Ruth Chris. The food is exceptional but this is the first time my steak wasn't as tender as it has been in the past, Extra chewing but very flavorful. The side dishes are always good also, I recently mentioned to a friend that another friend and I go every year to celebrate our birthdays (we can only afford Ruth Chris once a year) and the friend stated they have only been there once as they weren't impressed), I could not understand that. Oh, also they brought us beautiful desserts as we both were celebrating birthdays... Her 90th and my 93rd, Florence Smith

The food was subpar for a luxury steak house. The lobster bisque has a unique taste that is absolutely awful, the server saw we hardly touched it and took it off our bill. The 11oz filet was cooked really well but lacked flavor. I added the "Oscar" finish to my steak and it still lacked flavor. Our server Karla was fantastic, her recommendations on appetizers were appreciated.

We came to celebrate my Birthday, and i was looking forward to a delicious steak. However, all 3 of our steaks were overcooked and The sides were flavorless. Except the spicy shrimp appetizer, that was really good. So disappointing.

Our server Jordan was great and was very helpful with what to order. Jeremy the general manager came by and introduced himself and made sure our dinner was good. Great time and great food with excellent staff.

Went to Ruth Cris Irvine to celebrate our 25th anniversary and brought friends celebrating their 40th. We were treated very well. Our server Arron was very knowledgeable of the cuisine and spent a lot of time with our table talking about everything on the menu. We really enjoyed our steaks and a few sides. The chop salad was one of the best salads I have ever eaten. All the staff were friendly and we enjoyed everything about our experience.

Food was excellent. Highly recommend NY Strip steak. Raspberry Cosmo was also very good. Place was noisy but it was the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. On the pricey side but the food was worth it.

I’ve been to Ruth Chris around the country and this one due to mix of diners felt like a loud Applebees. I’m not paying a $100 a plate to listen to screaming babies. Bummer because the staff and food were otherwise great.

Last of the decent steak houses in the OC... post Covid they're still the same, unlike many others that changed cuts of meat, reduced service & overall never recovered. Not inexpensive but you still get the best service, white tablecloth, quality experience & great steak!

The food tasted good but they were very over priced. Unless you select prefixed menu, you don’t get any sides. All you get is bread and butter and all the sides have to be ordered separately which are more than $15 each, wow!

Our steaks were over cooked and burnt to a crisp when you’re paying this much for a steak it should not be over cooked,burnt, and tough. When looking around the restaurant everyone else’s steaks were burnt too. This was unacceptable.

I order the lunch special. The shrimp is really good, but is steak here is not as good as the Ruth’s Chris in Pasadena. The meat is really tough and hard to chew.

The most professional team of servers, bartenders and the manager Mark has impeccable customer service! The Irvine location goes over and above to earn their repeat customer base. Went to tastemaker dinner where entrees were paired with Patron tequilas. It was wonderful. The Patron host was so kind, the service wonderful, and the Mexican oriented food was superb. Great event. Thank you.
