    Amazing experience from the beginning. Mahalo Nui Loa Puka for exceeding our expectations. Celebrating our anniversary here was very nice and memorable. Thank you to everyone for this spectacular experience. We will definitely be back!! Aloha!

    We enjoyed the excellent service George provided us. The tomahawk ribeye steak was excellent and delicious. We also enjoyed the seafood tower that included ample amount of King Crab, lobster tails & claws, jumbo shrimps & lump crab meat. The Calamari appetizer was also excellent and cooked perfectly. The grilled asparagus and cream spinach were also excellent. Our friend order fillet that was delicious and cooked perfectly. We even had home leftovers that were boxed & bagged by George and his assistants. We’ll return soon for our anniversary.

    There are about a half dozen high end steakhouses in Honolulu. This one is the best. My NY strip was well seasoned, flavorful and cooked as ordered. It was awesome. The service was courteous and friendly.

    We have been spending a week on Oahu celebrating our anniversary had have enjoyed great meals throughout our trip. We’ve sampled many local specialties, mainly seafood, but for out actual anniversary decided on Ruth’s Chris for some good beef. The Waikiki restaurant wasn’t available at our desired time, but The Downtown one was actually closer to our resort. Other than for the H1 traffic, getting there was simple and a great asset is a parking garage under the building, empty in the evening so we parked just a few steps from the restaurant. We were greeted warmly by the hostess, who showed me the parking validation machine at her stand, which gave us free parking. The restaurant was fairly quiet, as it was a Monday, and we were well tended to by the staff. All wished us a Happy Anniversary, and they had scattered some rose petals on our table. Our main server, George, took great care of us and was entertaining as well. Cocktails, Caesar Salad, and our wine were great. We ordered the porterhouse for two, and it was fantastic. Tender, and importantly cooked exactly the way we requested. We ended the evening with a complimentary dessert. While there are many great restaurants in Honolulu, if you are looking for great steak, and great service, I would recommend Ruth’s Chris Downtown, especially for those who have a vehicle, as the free convenient parking is an added plus.
