We have not been to Ruth’s Chris for many years. The food, service, drinks and view at this location were all outstanding, and this was the best meal we have had in years. We look forward to going there again soon.

It was a Moët & Chandon pairing dinner and the lobster was served to me raw and room temperature, which was extremely disappointing - I hate raw seafood and the menu stated the lobster would be cooked… mine wasn’t; the filet was served very rare, in fact everyone around us was complaining the steak was very rare so we all couldn’t eat it, and instead boxed it up to take home; the dessert/cake was extremely dry. The sparkling wine and service were very good - the food could have been great, but was below average/par for Ruth’s Chris - very disappointing when I spend $400 for dinner for 2. It was far too noisy, the tables were arranged poorly. I suggest you spend some time, and your own money, to attend some wine dinners at The Wine Vault in San Diego. - they know how to do a wine dinner correctly. Perhaps you should reduce the number of guests when you do these, as you don’t know how to manage a large group of dinners in terms of preparing the food correctly and getting everyone served in a timely manner with the correct temperature of food… and getting everyone served a new dessert vendor…

Our party of four had a wonderful relaxed birthday celebration with Greg and team taking great care of us. The drinks were delicious! The fillets and ribeye were cooked perfectly as was the lobster tails and shrimp.

We chose the prixe fixe menu, which included a delightful a salad for the starter, a beautiful filet mignon with a beautiful lobster tail on the side, and an amazing raspberry sorbet and a lemon cheesecake for dessert. We shared mashed potatoes and asparagus as our sides. Our steaks and our lobster were cooked perfectly. And the bottle of wine we selected, The Prisoner, was absolute perfection.

We were there to celebrate our daughter and son-law’s 30th anniversary and we had an excellent meal with the best server ever. If you are lucky enough to get Patrick as your server you will not be disappointed. He was very attentive but we never felt rushed. We were a party of 6 and each course came out at exactly the right time. I can’t say enough about the service. It was above and beyond.

I love the place service is great … manu changes a lot but they still can make you your old favorites like the beefsteak tomatoes salad. I was shocked about the calorie amount it’s cool the drizzle but maybe they should have another option. Crazy calories even in the salmon. Other suggestions might be the air conditioner to high. But this are my suggestions. Nice neighborhood restaurant…
