all excellent can't wait to return. employees were all very attentive.
The food and service was incredible! We always share our meals and the staff was so very gracious at splitting everything for us. The au gratin potatoes are always a favorite. And the bread pudding dessert was amazing. Of course the steak is always the best. Thanks for another great dining experience.

We've been regulars 21 years, mostly special occasions. We loved it and have raved about it, with great reviews. Service began slipping 2 years ago. It became slower and they forgot to provide the complimentary dessert and we had to ask them, which is embarrassing, since they ask in advance if it is a special occasion. Since food and service had been excellent, we came back. We wanted to give it a third chance. Our server, though friendly, was very slow, sinking to the point of ignoring us. We had to refill our champagne glasses several times. He initially charged us for the dessert, the size of which shrank to tiny. The bill stated "birthday dessert" with charge. Call this minor, but it was outrageous in our view, as we have been loyal patrons and have given them at least 5 thousand dollars over years. The portion size and quality also declined. The filets were same weight as listed; everything else was smaller. Chop salad was reduced to half size. For $ 17, there should be more than 3 bites. Vegetables were wilted/practically no dressing. Sides good but smaller. Salt level was ridiculous, but we did not want to wait another 30 minutes for a redo, so we put up with it. Prices are up about 20%. We would have been happy to pay for good food and service. We paid because we had to.
We were upset and spoke w/ the manager. I used a bad word, and apologized. Manager seemed nonplussed that we had a bad experience, after we described it. We mentioned one good thing: the bus woman was outstanding and should be promoted. She was far more attentive than our waiter. There were no attempt to comp any part of the meal. The manager could see how upset we were(wife crying). This is resting on laurels. I'm sure they still have a good reputation. Many rich executives on expense accts were there. Perhaps a big corporation took over (often results in decline). It is unlikely we will return as we do not want to risk having another bad experience spoil a special occasion.

Table service was incredible- only issue was we had a reservation for 6:45 and was not seated until 7:15!
Had a great time as usual. Food is always predictable as is the service.
