The bar area is very dark and there is a limited number of seats. The dining area was much more pleasant and the service was very good. The steak was perfectly cooked and the sides were too.

We decided to come here to celebrate my dual citizenship and presidents club at work. Reservation made for 10:30 as we were seeing a comedy show in downtown which we moved up to 9:45 bc things ended earlier than we thought. It felt like they were already closed lol very quiet I’ve never been here like this but hey I finally got a booth we almost never get so a win but it was a bit disappointing. Service was confused we order pelligrino and it never comes get ice tap instead. No big deal it eventually comes and we get squared away. Waiter brings limes sliced on a paper napkin puts it on the table. Did they run out of plates at 9:30 sharp? Weird Bread came out once we were done with our osso bucco ravioli. I needed bread to mop up sauce. Then it came and we enjoyed the cold albeit delicious sauce with very hot bread and had to hurry bc our mains were coming. Just felt rushed, not the service we have gotten used to. Felt disorganized. Should reservations be available this late if the staff isn’t ready for it?

Excellent service, attention to detail was impeccable! The dishes were superior, presentation of food was great! Let me include that presentation is very important to me! Lobster tail and crab cakes melted in my mouth, wonderful! Filet was excellent! We were very pleased with the entire experience at Ruth’s Chris. Thank you!!

We were delighted by the anniversary decorations that were on our table when we arrived and the menu had a pre-printed “Happy 24th Anniversary”! So nice! And we were given a special dessert that had “Happy Anniversary” written in chocolate syrup on the plate!

Patrick was an amazing server! He should be a manager. He really took care of us and made sure everything was good to go. It was our first time visiting Ruth Chris, and it won’t be our last, thanks Patrick!

We have been to many different Ruth’s Chris locations & have always had an amazing experience overall! We have visited the Del Mar location a handful of times, but this visit was definitely a memorable one. Our waiter, Rich, was AMAZING! He was so kind & friendly, he made sure to make us feel like he really enjoyed serving us, we were celebrating our wedding anniversary & he made sure to ask us questions about us, how long we’ve been married, how we met, etc. Rich was just so personable & we felt like he was a friend!

It’s was our wedding anniversary and we chose this night to revisit Ruth’s Chris. Excellent service by David - and fun! - delicious food and special attention by manager Victoria. A five star evening! Thank you for treating us like royalty!
