It was just me and my teenage son for a special dinner. They sat us in a separate room where at first it was just us. I preferred to be in the main dining room where there was much more energy! The waiter was very good. The quality of the food for the crazy price didn’t match. There was brown lettuce in the salad, for example. I don’t know that I’d return just because it’s so expensive and there are better alternatives nearby.

Once again, Molly was terrific. This time I celebrated my birthday with 4 woman from Overture Centennial and we had such a blast. Molly described the drinks and dishes to them since they had never been there before. Molly did not rush us and we were there for 3 hours having such a great time. It was a birthday to remember. Thank you again Molly!

This was our first time at this restaurant. Our server seemed very disappointed and disinterested. He walked by our table seven times when we needed something without slowing down. The steak was delicious; the other sides were marginal at best. We are willing to give it another try, but the whole dining experience seemed rather disappointing.

Just not what it used to be. Great people. Way understaffed. Chicken Caesar chicken burned to a crisp. Double cut pork chop requested medium was 3/4 inch thick and cooked to oblivion. Waffle House quality. Been going there for years and it seems they are having serious issues. At least the martinis were good.

We’ve dined at Ruth Chris chains several times. As lovers of their food and service, we brought a new comer to experience. While the food was a perfect 10 the service experience was subpar. Our first waitress was didn’t speak much nor really take the opportunity to welcome and engage us. She just passed out the menus and asked our drink orders. I then shared we brought someone to experience and she didn’t acknowledge. She just proceeded to share the wine menu. I then provided the “Ruth Chris” introductory opener. When she arrived back she heard me going over it and then I asked can she share more about the menu options. She quickly ran through it and left. We ordered and sat there for almost 20 mins. A gentleman delivered the appetizer. We asked for bread and it was delivered. Another server shared that our original server was sick so she’ll be taking over. Throughout the service, it was evident that she was just taking on our table as she spent more time with her assigned area. When the entrees arrived, they were placed in front of the wrong person. She shared that she didn’t know who ordered what. The empty appetizer plates stayed on the table throughout the entree. When asked to pack up a dish it was done almost 20 mins later. It wasn’t the best impression for a newcomer. Understandably, they had to shift to accommodate an unexpected sickness, but we weren’t the new server’s priority and it truly felt like it. We were taken care of AFTER her assigned area. In fact, I don’t even know her name as she never introduced herself. Nevertheless, we left a 22% tip. We’ve never experienced that at the other locations.

Very good overall. Server did a wonderful job chasing down wine menu inconsistency. Meal was excellent. One negative, the food runner disrupted our prayer. I would expect recognition of it from a high end place and full respect to pause before delivering the side dish.

This was our first and only time at Ruth's Chris in Cary. I'm just not impressed with the sophistication. Dress code, we did but interesting pool attire by some. It was an okay experience with great company, wife and son for Mother's Day. Wife and I had the filet and shrimp. Steak was ordered medium well and came out charred and dry. Shrimp had a little seasoning of some kind. Our son got bone-in Ribeye medium, which was rare. Sides were good, especially the lobster mac and cheese. We were disappointed in the least for what was paid. The steaks are better at Angus Barn. Would have eaten at Angus Barn but no availability. Want will not be back to Ruth Chris

Came to enjoy our evening and had a bad service. Appetizers ordered never came. No apologies from server nor manager who came to our table and weirdly asked how are we doing instead of simply addressing the issue and say sorry. After we said we are doing ok he just left. Low class service at steak house. They Don’t know how to take care of problems. People make mistakes and that’s ok but it’s how you deal with those that matters.

Having frequented Ruth's Chris in my home state of Connecticut I wanted to check out the Cary location. I have now been to this location twice and I can' say enough good things about it. Food was spectacular and service was impeccable. Love the open and tiered interior of this restaurant as well. We much prefer this location over our Connecticut one as the service there has been lacking. Service is far superior at this location and the restaurant is much quieter. Our server Jack W was outstanding...............very friendly and efficient........We will visit again as we are in the Raleigh area often...... A+++++++++++
