   I usually have a very good experience here. This time, somethings weren't up to par. The french fries that came with the sandwich were not fresh. Maybe it was waiting on the plate while they were making the sandwich. My dinner companion was finishing eating half of his sandwich and the waiter came and asked if he wanted a take a way box. I was still eating my sandwich. After that, he came by and asked if there was anything he could do for us (that was nice.) He said the reason he asked is because he was going to the restroom. I don't think we needed to know that. He said the same thing to the table next to us. Perhaps he was being overly customer focused with those 2 actions?

   Our server Nisa was attentive and provided good suggestions for our meal. Wished the restaurant stayed open later for a weeknight as they close at 730pm.

   Original food order not cooked as ordered. Well done burger came med rare. Took a while for the reordered one to come out. Bacon on sandwich was not crispy or warm. Seemed as though just came out of a bag. Fries not hot. Unusual. Usually food quality is excellent. For the price, wouldn’t continue to go here if food quality is mediocre.

   Our waitress was good. I had to ask for refills of our water, but not bad. It was busy. Other servers seemed rush and didn't really say anything.

   Food: Tomato Bisque - 10/10 Ahi Poke - Chefs Special - 10/10 Kids Tortellini - 10/10 Kids Chicken Tenders - 5/10 My daughter was not a fan of the chicken tenders. She took a bite and only ate the side order fries. She said the tenders tasted a bit pickleness. Waitress removed it from our bill, I appreciated the waitress for doing this seeing that my daughter did not like it.

   Used to eat here on a monthly basis but haven’t gone in a few months. Some changes to the menu, level of service and quality of food. Food took a long time to come out, one of the dishes being a salad. It was already 2pm and half the restaurant had left, so not sure what the reason was. No acknowledgement or explanation from our server. When food came out, both dishes (chicken parm sandwich and salad) had a hair in it. We brushed off the first one we found but the one in the salad was too hard to look past. Let the server know and he took it back with no real apology. Assuming it was the floor manager as he was dressed different than the other servers brought back a “new” salad shortly after that was obviously smaller for some reason and did not offer an apology either. Only made a joke about it not being his hair since he is bald. Disappointing and concerning for Nordstrom quality. Felt like a cheap diner.

    Ruscello has great food always with great service, whenever we're in town at Ala Moana, we make sure that we consider Ruscello at meal time.
