Great food and service.
Great, friendly and the most outstanding service ever. My family and I were very impressed.
The Lamb entree was delicious as well as the mango and cheese appetizer. The server was very knowledgeable about the area and very nice. My husband and I had a wonderful dinner night.
Excellent restaurant with outstanding seafood and signature dishes. Well know and definitely need reservations. Exstensive wine list. Friendly and attentive wait staff.
The restaurant check in gal was not efficient or communicative. Our waitress was superb. Food was ok. We have eaten at Roy's in Hawaii for 25 years.
The food was fantastic & the service was great! We had a wonderful dinner.
The food is good. The service is friendly, but they are not trained for fine dining. In the end, Roy’s is a high end cafeteria in a hurry to pour your wine quickly, so you will order more, and get you out the door fast so they can get another table in. There was little time between courses. May be a good choice if you are in a hurry! Not a good choice for a nice family meal.
Great food and service/recommendations by Norman.
The wines are a good value. However, the food was marginal, and didn’t measure up to the hype. They were out of the shrimp and scallop dish at 6:15 and of the 1st wine we ordered. The busboys were excellent, but the food servers were not that attentive, and always seemed to manage to bring drinks without the food that was to go with it, and vice versa. This the 3rd time we have been very disappointed with a Roy’s, and probably will not go back again. They seem to have lost their touch and to be trying to live on their laurels. We spent a lot of money for a very marginal dining experience.
Service was pretty terrible! Our waiter was MIA for a good portion of the time. The food wasn't any better.
The cocktails were just bad. DO NOT get sashimi here! Not fresh and of poor quality. The only thing we liked was the chocolate souffle dessert. There are too many good restaurants out there for anyone to waste their money or time here.
On vacation. Dishes are rich and saucy. If you are looking for light And fresh, not here.
As usual we thoroughly enjoyed Royʻs! Best restaurant at Ko Olina! A nice touch was the managerʻs pupu for free!
Roy's always has outstanding service and food. It is our regular place for a nice dinner and almost always for special occasions.
We have never had a complaint about the service or food.
The service was horrendous and the food was hardly better. We had to wait 1 hour, + 15 minutes after we ordered our main courses before we got our food. The waiter essentially disappeared so we couldn’t find out what the problem was and how much longer it was take. The food was not much better than mediocre and the prices we paid added insult to injury. Stay Away from this restaurant.
The wine was the high point of the evening. The service was marginal with a little chaos thrown in. One meal was sent away, the other 3 were okay. We were treated like tourists. The "specialness of the occasion" was lost.
Our server Kenisha was outstanding. Fantastic service, menu knowledgeable, very pleasant with a fantastic personality. The scallops with pork belly delish ! Try the upsidedown pineapple and a must have macadamia nut tart. You won't be disappointed no matter what you order.
Like to see whole steam fishes such as onaga chinese style, on the menu. Your prime lobster tail is already excellent.
Solid outpost of the perennial Hawaiian shop. Food was excellent, service enthusiastic if a bit ill-timed. Nice alternative to the nearby hotel restaurants.
Perfect as always and portions got larger, iMHO
Steak was very over cooked at 50$. Fish that the waiter was recommending was dry and boring. A 500$ check left us unimpressed.
Me and my wife went here for our Anniversary. Every thing was Great!
Outstanding food and service. Extraordinary desk and waitstaff
Waitstaff was excellent. Drinks were strong, but nicely mixed with a balanced taste. Had the surf and turf maki sushi - truly the best sushi I have ever eaten! Also had the prime rib with lobster. Lobster was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Prime rib was phenomenal! Generous serving, excellent flavor, perfectly cooked. Took leftovers home for two more meals. Husband had the seafood trio. Excellent combination of textures and flavors.
Roy’s never disappoints. My favorites are the Mochi encrusted hamachi or ahi with uni sauce, the seafood trio, and the pineapple creme brûlée.
First time for dinner there. Food and service was excellent. It was the best choice for our anniversary! I will definitely be back😊
Food and service were incredible.
Andrew was our server. Top Notch service. Everything great... very consistent ... appetizers, Dinner dessert. All awesome.
Cant go wrong at most any Roy's in Hawaii i have been to almost of all them. Koolina Roys is one of my favorites.
We had an excellent time celebrating our second anniversary at Roy’s. The service was wonderful and the food was amazing. We had the Spicy crab cakes and the egg rolls as appetizers. For dinner we had two specials. The broadbill fish with macadamia crust. And the scallops over pork belly. It was delicious. For dessert we had the chocolate soufflé and macadamia nut blondie. You must go to Roy’s if you’re in Ko Olina. Not cheap - but worth every penny.
Delicious food and great service! We enjoyed the Ahi Tuna and Butterfish dishes. The sushi was also divine.
Had a wonderful time!!!
This place is resting on its reputation from the days when Roy’s was innovative and high quality.
The dishes are surprisingly out of sync with the trend towards healthier eating. They never seem to miss a chance to bread or deep fry a dish.
Service was chaotic, and our Mohawk haired waiter was so busy telling us what he liked and how great everything was that he didn’t seem interested in listening to us.
For a pricy meal, the experience was disappointing. Head to Mina’s Fish House or Noe at the FS to see how professionals do it.
The food was amazing. Their was barely any noise.
Great food, flawless service. This amazing restaurant never fails to impress.
Celebrating my kids birthday with friends and they all enjoy it
Scott is very energetic and definitely knows his stuff. We were very impressed with the whole experience. We’ll definitely be back.
Service was awesome. Staff was very nice and friendly. You could feel the Aloha spirit 🌺
Awesome service and great food! Loved it!
