At Chateau Louis we strive to provide the freshest top quality products available. Our beef is Alberta Triple A, the wild sockeye salmon is from B.C. , the lamb is local Alberta. All sauces, salad dressings and desserts are freshly made in the hotel kitchen.
We believe that meals should be enjoyed and not rushed. Good food takes time to properly prepare and we will endeavour to make every meal memorable.
Chateau Louis is the first Gluten Free Verified hotel in North America, recognized by the Canadian Celiac Association.

    Excellent food and service at a very reasonable price. Dining room is a little jaded. A wine list would be a good addition although I enjoyed the wines suggested. This restaurant thoroughly deserves it’s great reputation.

    We were so disappointed in the Sunday Brunch. Our family has been coming to Chateau Louis dining room for at least 35 years for various celebrations and for just because and we won't be back. Sad. We realize food is expensive and services must be cut but . . . eggs Benny were tough, but salad offerings were enjoyable. The roast beef was a poor cut and a disappointment. The omelete station was a good choice and the coffee is good. The waffles were hard and overdone (at the omelette station). Desserts were fairly good. One could do better elsewhere.

    The gluten free buffet is delicious, fresh and good quality. You would not tell the difference in the food. The selection is excellent from salads to perfectly cooked vegetables. Fish in sauce, delicious potatoes and roast beef and gravy. The desserts are decadent from creme brulè to fresh fruit pavlova, coconut cake and dark chocolate torte + more. The value is excellent, the staff are warm, friendly and helpful. The piano bar is classy and relaxing for before or after dinner drinks 10/10. Thankyou we will be back

    Was lovely old school brunch. Smaller selection than the old days but still good variety. All was fresh and tasty. Only iffy dish was eggs Benny which, while tasty, was not very hot. - the fresh omelette station made up for it. Hot and tasty.

    My friend and I came for Sunday brunch today, and we had a lovely time. The food was great, and our server was very thorough in letting me know which items were gluten free and what wasn’t (I have celiac disease so I appreciate this attention to detail). We definitely will be coming back for future meals!
