Rossetti Restaurant of Lynn
Bar: Tuesday - Thursday: 4:00pm - 10:00pm, Friday - Saturday: 4:00pm - 11:00pm, Sunday: 4:00pm - 8:00pm
We sat at the bar to eat. Great food and martinis. The service was outstanding. I would most definitely return.
We continue to go back and it continues to be one of our favorite restaurants. The food here is outstanding. We have been there many, many times with friends and by ourselves and no one has ever had a bad meal. You can eat off the menu, but if you have a special request and they have the ingredients in the kitchen, they will make it for you. Just a great dining experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and the service is outstanding. Ask for the back room, it is a little quieter but no matter where you sit, the food and service will be great. And there is a parking lot across the street which makes it convenient and safe.
Mediocre food--overly seasoned sauce on the gnocchi, antipasti platter with very marginal charcuterie (tasted like they came from the deli counter of the grocery store) and cheeses and greens drenched in truffle oil so that the flavors were muddied and overdone. The kitchen could benefit from an inspired chef.
Great meal, lovely service, and a very nice experience overall.
Food was fantastic.
The food was terrific, service was exceptional and our wait staff was well informed about the menu. Chris, the owner, introduced himself and made us feel right at home.
The food was delicious! Our waitress was great!
My food was delicious but I was disappointed in the serving size of two items. I ordered the eggplant appetizer and got (4) thin slices of approx 2.5 diameter pieces for $10.95. The chocolate torta dessert was at the bottom of a ramekin under two scoops of ice cream and was a shallow serving of cake when I got to it. I left feeling that I hadn't gotten my money's worth. The service from Matt P. was excellent and I told him so.
I brought two friends to the restaurant to introduce them to it and they were pleased with their choices. I will hesitate to bring anyone back again.
Excellent experience. Waiter (Matt) was so friendly and when it got busy, the manager helped out and he was super friendly and welcoming. We ordered an appetizer special - zucchini blooms that were amazing. They had local honey drizzled on them. I asked where the local honey came from and the executive chef Bobby came out with a bottle of the honey to show us exactly where he gets it from in the Diamond District. Told us to tell the seller that he sent us. Just a real welcoming friendly family oriented place with amazing food. Would dine here over and over
Probably my 5th visit to this restaurant and EVERY time the food AND service have been AMAZING. My only complaint is that it occasionally takes too long to get drinks and the space is too loud and therefore disruptive to the conversation I am trying to have at my table whether with business colleagues, friends, family or my lovely wife who deserves my undivided attention.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary and when we arrived we were seated in our favorite seat. We dined on a wonderful meal which was topped of with a delicious complimentary dessert and a glass of champagne. Made the evening extra special!
I made a reservation and I had to wait over 30 minutes for the table
I can see 10/15 minutes but not 30 when u have a reservation.
It Took over an hour to receive our meals.
Alex, the hostess, was esxcellent! She stood out from the other employees with her warm and welcoming personalilty. She even went the extra mile to clean up and set up our table so that it was ready in a timely manner. She is an asset to your restaurant!
Excellent, authentic Italian cuisine. Our appetizers were perfectly prepared. The Crispy Fried Calamari was lightly fried and flavorful. The description of the Fried Eggplant appetizer does it no justice - it's a medallion of fried eggplant with ricotta, spinach, basil and marinara - visualize a little pizza. For entrees, the pan roasted Veal Marsala was light and delicious and the Chicken "Margarita" (in a Lemon, Butter, White Wine and Capers sauce). We both opted for the homemade pasta - delicious. Whenever you find yourself in Lynn, you need to stop by!
This is a great restaurant
Love everthing about it
Definitely will go back!
This is my second time at Rosetti’s. Started our meal with the shrimp scampi appetizer which was delicious! Selected the chicken marguerita for dinner which was wonderful. Finished the meal with selection of cannolis and cappuccino which was the perfect end to a wonderful meal. Enjoyed every morsel.
We (party of four) went to Rosetti for a birthday celebration on a Wednesday evening. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and I would recommend this restaurant to my friends and others who enjoy delicious food with ample plus servings. Our server for the evening was very attentive and pleasant and made sure we were well cared for all evening. She informed us of the daily specials and answered any questions we had regarding various menu offererings from appetizers to dessert. Everyone had a memorable experience including the "Birthday girl." We collectively agreed we will definitely go back again...and again...
Excellent staff and the food is always good
Fantastic place. Food was outstanding. Loved it. Such a nice surprise. I thought we were going to an old Italian place with old red leather booths. I was pleasantly surprised when I went in and it was modern, jazz playing, cool inside, cool bar, happening little place. Food was outstanding, we both loved our meals. Service was ok, waitress was a little scattered hard to get her attention, but overall it was fine, since everything else was spot on.
Once again an amazing dining experience at
Rossetti's. The Steak Mafiosa was amazing!
Best Italian food on the Northshore by far.
Service was also outstanding!
Nice restaurant in an easy walk to the Lynn Auditorium we were seeing a show
We celebrated our anniversary at the restaurant prior to seeing the show at the Lynn Auditorium. We were warmly greeted and the entire dining experience was excellent. The entree selections that we chose were delicious. I enjoyed the appetizer special which was lobster served with a homemade salsa and aoli in a fried wonton shell, delectable! I had the haddock with lump crab meat topping which was delicious. My husband enjoyed the chicken marguerita. He thoroughly enjoyed his selection. We finished the meal with a delicious tortufo which is spumoni ice cream in a shell of dark chocolate accompanied by cappuccino. Just wonderful! When the owner learned that it was our anniversary, he prepared a special toast in champagne flutes for us to have before we left. It was a perfect celebratory dinner! Looking forward to going back!
Absolutely the most delicious Italian food we’ve had! Fantastic service friendly staff and wonderful place! Highly recommend it!
The food was outstanding but the service was terrible. Our waitress served our drinks, took our order and we never saw her again and she put the check on the table.
Party for four arrived at 6pm- we were promptly seated. We had wonderful service. We wanted a new dinner entree as an appetizer, and it was divided up for the four of us. It was a Veal Ragu, delicious. We had 4 different entrees- each was well prepared and presented beautifully.. Dessert was prepared with brownie, vanilla ice cream, raspberries- it was fantastic!
The staff is the most friendly, starting with being greeted when you enter the reasturant. Waitstaff are attentive and knowledgeable and seem to be around when you need them, but not enough to be annoying. They kitchen staff are very efficient and knowledgeable. The kitchen is easily visible if you care to watch a well oiled operation. There is ample parking, with on street and a municiple lot directly across the street. The meal starts with fresh bread and flavored oil and whatever is ordered is cooked perfectly. Absolutely delicious a fine dining experience.
I love the food and the service
I always go for my birthday
And get togethers with friends
Great night. Food was delicious, and Matt our waiter was fantastic! Love this place.
It was too loud, table of seven, Rudy. Could not even hear my husband.
Food was delish, very accommodating with dietary restricctions..
My husband love the gnoccis.
I got the finest special, cooked to perfection.
Outstanding service. Hospitality from workers, owners and chef wonderful.Noise level could be better with some wall art made to absorb the loudness. We love it there! One of our favorite places!
Great experience. Chris and Matt took great care of us. Food was delicious. My wife enjoyed her birthday, and that’s what counts above all.
Rossetti never disappoints! My wife and I dined here prior to attending a show at Arts After Hours at LynnArts ("Edges," which was great -- go see it!) Our appetizer -- tempura-style zucchini blossoms drizzled with local honey -- melted in your mouth. Despite some tempting specials, we opted for menu staples: Chicken "Braciolettini" with a wonderful white wine butter garlic sauce for me, Pan Roasted Atlantic Haddock with Sweet Pea and Shrimp Risotto for my wife. We both qualified for membership in the Clean Plate Club. My cocktail, a mule made with house-infused cranberry vodka, was also delicious. We didn't have time (or room) for dessert, but the cannoli that passed by our table looked amazing. Service was very attentive without being overwhelming. We shall return!
Fantastic restaurant with excellent service and delicious food..
The little neck fra diablo is outstanding as is the homemade pasta bolognese and pork chop with vinegar peppers.. Dont forget a glass of decoy cabernet, the martinis were perfect and the canoli was a delicious ending!!
This is my second try here. The drinks and decor are good but the food is really average. I know this is a chef owned place but that could be the problem because the food is the only thing that could be dramatically better. Here are some of my observations: mussels diavolo: sauce not that great mussels were a bit fishy. Should try Turners in Salem for a great version of this dish - awesome sauce and perfect muscles. Charcuterie board could have been great but one of the meats had flavor overtones like it had been cut way in advance of being ordered, for a great charcuterie board I'd say Blue-ox Lynn or Ledger Salem. Had the pork chop on my first go and it was a sliced brick, it had been cooked to a pearly white leather, tasted par-boiled to me. For a great pork chop I'd go to Firenze in Salem. Wine and cocktails were great, selection of wines - whites in particular, could be improved. The old fashioned is great.
For the price point the food didn't quite reach our expectations for quality or taste.
Celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary - everything was perfect - food was outstanding, we sat in the back away from the bar which was a little quieter.
Our serve Rhode was amazing ! She recommended the veal Marsala and didn’t disappoint !
We were seated at the time of our reservation on a busy Saturday night. Food was outstanding and service was great. You are greeted with a smile and treated as if the only customer there. Thank you!
Service was excellent. So we’re the drinks and food. Best Italian food in the area
