*All reservations made will be sat inside!*
Made reservations for my mom’s birthday. Was first sat out on the rooftop where we were told that our party of 6 would have to sit on the ledge to eat for dinner. We asked to move to a legit table but was denied for a “large party coming that reserved the whole other side of the roof.” We then asked to sit inside, which prompted the night to go downhill. We waited 2 hours for our food, at least an hour for drinks. We were ignored basically the whole night. Despite this all, we stayed hoping the food would be amazing since it was taking so long to prepare. We were wrong, as it was beyond mediocre. As we prepared to leave, we were astounded by the ridiculous bill that was NOTHING new what was worth paying for. No apology from the staff, servers or managers were offered. The final nail in the coffin was our waitress saying “sorry you had a bad time, that’s too bad but we hope to see you here again!” This left us dead silent and determined to not come back again. Ruined the birthday and the night as a whole.
Food was amazing. Best lobster roll i have ever had.
Had a reservation for 8:45pm when I arrived to the restaurant walked around no one greeted us was no host no employees around. Walked in to the bar the place smells and the bartender said the bar was close because they were closing the restaurant in 15 minutes.
Very nice atmosphere and good service. The food was a little to salty for my taste but portions were generous and presented well.
I’ve sat outside at rooftop before and the food was amazing, service was great. However, I visited last night and we ended up sitting inside due to the extreme heat and the food was quickly served but was terrible, wasn’t even fully hot it was Nuke warm. We 100% paid way to much for one appetizer and two meals. I thought this place was great until I experienced my second time their I don’t know that I’ll be returning again.
The chips and dip on the happy hour menu took 30 minutes along with the steak Bibb. There was nothing special about any part of this. The steak was decent. The salad eh. There were flies and the seating was not that comfortable-we sat at the high seating outside. The Moscow mule was not bad but I've definitely seen better.
Nice ambiance, but food is terrible. Possibly an off night, but was disappointing because I was celebrating my Son’s engagement. 😢
Great place for drinks and ambiance. Service is very slow and food is sub-par.
It's a good place for dinner with friends. It was cloudy and rainy when I went and I think that affected the ambiance a bit. Can't hold the weather against them obviously. The food was okay. I was told the menu changes, the menu for the day I went wasn't my favorite but it was edible.
The staff was super helpful and nice. We got seated as soon as all members of our reservation party was there.
We stop in by the bar first for one drink with happy hour, the wings was good the drink was ok. Then we went inside an dine for dinner I ordered salmon and about 10 minutes later we were told by the server that the chef was out of salmon, I was very disappointed ☹️ 🙁😞 now I had to ordered something else from the menu and the options were few. I didn’t like my food at all, my our two guest was also disappointed with they’re food..... We’ve been to rooftop 120 several times, this was the worst experience we ever encountered....
Unfortunately we made a reservation online to open table for two people for 7 o’clock on the rooftop but when we arrived we were told that they don’t take reservations on the roof. Others in line we’re very aggravated as we were! We ended up sitting at the bar for well over an hour waiting to be called for a table. Lots of other people were coming in and sitting down before we were being shown to one. Very unorganized and we felt bad for the young women trying to accommodate everyone. Sitting down to eat at 8:30 was unacceptable and by then it was cold with lots of mosquitos,
The band was good. The overall vibe is cool. However, you can’t trust that after making a reservation you will be sat accordingly. Our reservation was for 7pm. We didn’t get sat at a table until 7:40pm. We were placed directly in front of the band without any other options. both of our food orders were messed up, but we were so hungry from waiting that we didn’t dare send it back. For the price of our meals , it was disappointing.
I’d been here in the winter it was gorgeous in the bar with the glass ceiling . Friends that hadn’t been there met us 45 min drive , we went into the bar area and it was all kids the music was so loud it was awful
We sat in a room in silence at a table for dinner the service was horrible and I’d never go back
Since we had inside dining room seating we were ignored.
Too many silly service and seating rules. May be good for Rooftop profits but can badly disrupt—and has disrupted—ordinary experience of friends getting together for an evening of music. .
Very Unorganized right from the front door,
I requested outdoor seating on line and was told you can’t do that.
The lobster roll and Buffalo Chicken egg rolls should be taken off the menu , I could not eat either!
So I ate frys for dinner and went home and had to eat .
I would never recommend this place to anyone .
We sat outside - service was great - only the table height was an issue / a bit high to eat comfortably
Great place to unwind. Sunset views, great food, music & not overcrowded. Definitely would go back.
Restaurant was empty and they sat us by hallway next to rooftop entry door so door was constantly opening n closing with people going to bathroom from bar. Soda was nasty had to be changed twice chicken m waffles ... chicken was burnt...overall bad
Food was NOT good. Caprese salad just tasted gross, also weird plating with half plate empty. Cerviche has way too many raw onions and serviced with no bread is not typical. Asked for bread..took literally forever to get.
We waited extremely long for service throughout entire dinner from beginning to end.
Table seating was not comfortable and shabby look to booth/chair; table it’s self was way too small for corner booth. Seating was strange. One chair oddly placed that didn’t match height of booth seating.
Service was running back and forth past our table, each time door opened there was disrupting club type music that would frequently interrupt our conversation.
Hostess at front was slightly rude. Asked for our ID like we were entering a club?? We were just going to dinner with our mother in law.. She also took preference to I’d other people before seating us (we were first in line, also we had made reservations but somehow she asked for people with id’s first).
Disappointed. Had been here a long time ago. Was expecting better. Won’t be back.
Hope this helps.
Happy Hour is only Tuesday through Friday, not on Saturday per website.
Great place to sit outside and eat. Have great live music
Only offered Mother’s day menu, this was never said when they called to confirm and not on website, a breakfast dominant menu was not wanted at 1pm, we had to go elsewhere
Daughter was offered bacon and eggs by manager as an alternative for lunch???
The ambiance is great the service is great from the bar and kitchen . The only problem I had was with the front end . We booked online for outdoor seating and it’s not clear about guaranteed placements . We drove an hour away to be told that they do first come first serve for out door seating and that the only guaranteed seating was in the lounge .
My first and most likely my last visit. Problems with reservations, problems with the table they sat us at (if you can call it a table), bacon was raw, chicken was rubbery and the bread was burnt on my friend's sandwich. They comped only her sandwich not our meal which I think would have been the way to go. Employee came of a bathroom stall and did not wash her hands. Clearly they were not prepared for the first warm and sunny night plus they had a private party which they used as an excuse to where they sat us. Valet parking was the best part of the evening.
There is a new spring menu which is excellent. It is much noisier in the bar half of the restaurant.
Not much of a menu. Food way over priced. Got a drink and 2 fish tacos. My husband got a Hamburg, nothing special. We went with another couple. They had same. We had 2 small apps bill 160.00 with tip really crazy!!! Our waiter was great and loved ambiance.
We enjoy the sophisticated atmosphere of this restaurant. It's decor is very unique and we like to sit inside as opposed to the outdoor rooftop dining area. The salads are large and can easily be shared by two. We really enjoyed the short rib and chicken and waffle entrees. The staff is efficient and friendly.
My spouse and I eent a wonderful wine dinner event at rooftop 120. The food along with the wine that was serve with each course was amazing, everything was balance tastefully. We had a great time and will definitely be returning.
The drinks were good and the atmosphere was nice but everything we ate tasted atrocious and I would likely never recommend it just because of that. The staff was great, but I was going there excited to have a nice dinner and some drinks and was very disappointed. For the price we paid (pretty expensive) the food was actually barely edible and tasted so bad. Sorry. People were nice though.
Food was great, had the brussel sprouts, Cox flat bread and steak tacos. We also tried three different cocktails that were great too. The service was very good and gave us recommendations for drinks and food. GreT place for a date night or girls night out. We sat on the comfy couches. Was nice to not be at regular table.
It was fabulous.
Very nice decor and pretty well laid out. We really enjoyed our meal and the waitress' input was spot on. Portions were more than enough although our Reuben sandwiches were a bit difficult to eat, the only qualm we had about the whole visit. We felt if maybe the chef went a lighter on the thousand island dressing, they wouldn't be challenging to eat.
Great food, beautiful decorations!! Definitely going again! Brittany was great!
Service team was friendly, but the food was just awful. We had high hopes after the wait staff stressed how excited they were to be under new management with a new chef. We only had the opportunity to order wine and two appetizers, ceasar salad and the meatballs...the wine was good. After ordering our apps it took the waitress 30 minutes to ask if we wanted entrees. Other staff just lurked around our table making our intimate dining experience uncomfortable. We left with only finishing the wine, I declined when asked to wrap it up.
it is noisy, and without the Groupon would have been pricey. That benefit made it a delightful experience
Had a wonderful evening with a friend. Great food and service. The ambiance was great, but we were a little too close to the outside bar and every time the door opened we got a roar from the bar.
We were seated right away and attention throughout our stay was great. Perfect atmosphere for a nice weeknight out.
The food was not great. It felt like an upscale chili’s or Applebee’s menu. The ambiance, however, was wonderful. I would only go back to have drinks. The food is not worth the high price.
Our food was served cold, except for the tater tots. It didn't have a lot of flavor to it, in my opinion. For the prices, I expected better.
