I've been with my family before and we enjoyed it, but this time was a bust. I was given the wrong dish (but the manager gave me my entree for free). Also, the sides of rice and beans weren't provided with two of our dishes so we had to ask for them. We were excited for dessert, but kit-kat cake was awful. It is a small and dense cake with an outside layer of chocolate. The problem is it was extremely dry and tasted like it had barely been thawed from a freezer. The chile relleno had a thick outside layer of fried egg (egg not listed on the menu), which I did not enjoy. Finally, the salsa tasted like blended paste...nothing unique or exciting. But the vegetable quesadillas were great!! Because I have had a decent experience prior, I will go one more time and re-consider. Hopefully this was just an off-night.

When we arrived at the restaurant, the hostess had difficulty finding our name (which was our error, not hers), but then had a bit of an attitude about it. The atmosphere, noise level and vibe of the restaurant were good. Our server greeted us within a reasonable length of time, but it took a very long time for our drinks to arrive. We were finally able to order an appetizer and our dinners when our drinks came, but then our dinners came out within 1-2 minutes of our appetizer. The food itself was very appealing looking - fresh and colorful - but none of it had much flavor. The queso fundido was cheesy but bland, and our dinners were without that spicy, flavorful blend of tastes that you normally expect with Mexican food. Even the side of guacamole that I ordered was bland. How can grilled chicken and steak be flavorless? Two different frozen drinks tasted mostly of ice. It wasn't bad, but when you drop almost $100 at a Mexican restaurant for 1 appetizer, 3 dinners and 3 drinks total, you expect something a little more memorable.

This was truly an amazing restaurant! Our server was beyond helpful and attentive. The drinks were well poured, tasty, and cold. The salsa here is beyond compare (so much we had to take some home). The prices and entrees were amazing as well. If you're looking for a good night of Mexican I would strongly recommend a trip to Rojo.

It was average at best. Hostess was not friendly, Dodd was just OK and wait staff felt rushed. I won't return as their are many other options that I feel are better.

We didn't like the girl who suppose to be friendly but she was grumpy. Who we went to first like we have reservations, place was empty that day . This is the fist time we went this location, we always go Birmingham. Please don't read me wrong she was really grumpy😫😄

Just like everyone else is saying ... ... I was sitting there for 15 minutes with no one coming to my table. I ended up having to go to the hostess stand and asking who my server was. The manager apologized and comped me an appetizer.
