Always great food!
Fabulous for fine dining experience, reasonably priced, wonderful atmosphere.
In addition to being New Years Eve, it is our anniversary. We enjoy Rodney's every year and have never been disappointed.
We were celebrating a special occasion, and had always heard great things about Rodney’s, so we thought we’d give it a try. First, we had no idea we could ONLY choose from the one menu that we were given. Secondly, when the food was brought to our table, I asked where the potatoes were. I counted 2 small cut up potatoes, on my plate. Maybe 4 string beans, mushrooms and chicken, with a salad and dessert, for $100.00 each! We would never pay that outrageous price, for the amount of food we got, or didn’t get! The food was cold, as well. We will never step foot in this place again. I’m honestly not sure how you stay in business with those prices, and the lack of quantity of the food you’re given. Very disappointed!
New Year’s Eve Dinner. The food was good, was it $100 a person good? No! Not to mention there wasn’t a drink included. 2 people for a average meal out was $250 after 2 drinks. I’ve had far better meals for $200 with better service and a much better atmosphere. Turn the heat up, don’t try to rush people out, turn some music on, do something to make this worth the drive from Lexington to Georgetown.
New Years Eve
Rodney’s is simply wonderful! The quality of the food is exceptional , beautifully served by gracious attentive personnel .
It was so nice to see the chef and owner come and say “ hello” . This is my favorite place. There is no need to hop in a plane and go to New York .
If you’ve not tried Rodney’s, it’s a must on your next date night! The atmosphere, food, and service were all superb!!!!
The service was fantastic, the food phenomenal, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Overall, a great dining experience. We will recommend Rodney’s to all of our family and friends. We will definitely go back again!
Love Rodney’s food is always spectacular and service is outstanding .
Best restaurant in Georgetown hands down, would recommend any time
My wife and I went for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. It was the best food I have ever ate. I got the new York strip with panko crusted baked potato and I didnt have a single bite that disappointed. The atmosphere was exceptional. My wife loved it as well. She had the warm goat cheese salad, which she said she'll definitely get again and the verlasso salmon which she also enjoyed.
Our first time and Rodneys and it was unforgettable! We had told them when we made the reservation that it was our “due date date”—aka, the baby's due date though baby wasn’t born yet. They had special pink and blue confetti on the table for us, and everyone from the host to Rodney himself came by with well wishes. So sweet! Food was great and my husband said his cocktail was, too. The biggest downside was that it was very loud inside. We had trouble hearing each other when all the other tables were talking. But we will definitely be back! Thanks for a special time!
Loud parties going on and waitress was not attentive. Experience not as good as in the past.
One of the BEST meals I have ever had!! Always love Rodney’s … miss him being in Lexington!! I had one of the specials..John Dory with scallops, brussel sprouts & a tasting of the grits special … so full of flavor and melt in your mouth goodness on everything, especially the fish and the grits were so light!! Friends had the verlasso salmon with brussel sprouts and the roasted pork shoulder with broccoli … all very tasty and so tender .. no knife needed!! All cleaned plates … leaving No room for dessert🥲 but continued to visit and catch up in the beautifully decorated house!
Rodney’s never disappoints ♥️
First time but will not be the last. Food and service were awesome.
We went to Rodney’s for Friday date night. I had the prime rib special. It was fantastic I can’t say enough. Love his seasoning.
Rodney's is always delicious. I had the filet mignon and it was amazingly tender and so flavorful. My friend had the shrimp and scallops, which she described as " buttery". She said they were amazing. The cocktails, "O'Pear" and the Espresso martini were spot-on and the amazing dessert we enjoyed was the Grand Marnier Cremé bruleé.
Rodney's is always a delightful experience and we can't wait to go back soon.
Erika was our server and did an outstanding job. She made us feel we were the only ones there even though the restaurant was packed to the gills.
First time eating here and we will be back. Beyond excellent service (Erica was awesome!) and food was phenomenal. One of the few places in the area that has veal on the menu.
We love date night at Rodney’s. The food is always excellent and the service great. My husband had the red snapper special and there were no leftovers. Rodney’s filet tends to be my go-to. Always tasty and my leftover is great the next day.
So glad Georgetown has this restaurant and chef.
Rodney's has a great chef. The quality of food is outstanding, so much flavor! We've never been disappointed.
I traveled down from Cincinnati per the recommendation of a friend. Rodney's did not disappoint! I had the pleasure of meeting Chef Rodney and spent some time talking with him about his passion. He's a fantastic man and from what I'm told, a great employer. I was alone, so I sat at the bar. The manager Jennifer was very attentive and fun to chat with. They have a wonderful drink selection and very reasonable prices. They have a very loyal customer base and I met several last night, who stop in weekly for the best steaks in the area, along with the conversation. Rodney's is certainly a staple in Georgetown and rivals neighboring steak houses in Lexington. You definitely get the vibe of a family owned restaurant, yet it's fine dining. Rodney cultivated a special atmosphere. Even the music, lights & decor are carefully curated. The food was exquisite. I had the artichoke dip, which surprisingly had capers (intriguing & delicious at the same time). The chips were fresh. The food was at the perfect temperature. Beef Short Ribs were the special and I devoured my plate. It was a generous serving of braised short ribs with fingerling potatoes, carrots, mushrooms & gravy. Definitely comfort food and what I had in mind. They were the best short ribs I've ever had. The food coupled with the hospitality made this a very enjoyable meal. The only disappointment is I didn't allow enough time to stay for dessert, which I heard is divine. I was headed to a concert in Lexington. The stop in Georgetown was definitely worth it and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I don't mind driving an hour for delicious food and supporting this incredible entrepreneur. Thank you Jennifer & Rodney for making me feel at home and preparing such a delicious meal.
Food was excellent, wait staff wonderful with good suggestions. Comfortable atmosphere
We love going to Rodney’s for date night. We know the food will be excellent and the service great.
I did some research in advance of a trip to Georgetown in advance of a horse show held at the Kentucky Horse Park. Rodney's was even better that I had hoped when I booked the reservation. Everybody in our group of five ordered steaks and they were all excellent cuts and prepared perfectly. The sides and desserts were on par with our entrees. Lastly, our server Julie and the entire staff were off the charts nice. Highly recommend.
We had a Filet Mignon and Tequila Lime Chicken. They were both excellent! The raspberry cake and peanut butter pie were a great finish as well. Service was wonderful. We will definitely be back!
Excellent, excellent food ,ambiance, & service as always. We love this restaurant!
This place is amazing. Charming atmosphere and delicious food. I highly recommend dining here when your in town.
Everything about this restaurant was delightful! From the minute you walk in the door you are wrapped in the cozy ambience of what I believe is a historic home and are welcomed by friendly staff who make you feel instantly welcomed. The service, food and drinks were nothing short of perfect, and the chef came out to check on everyone! It is definitely a rare find! Can’t wait to go back!
Mac and cheese and fried grouper was great everything else wasn’t that great
Everything was amazing! The food was excellent! Service was outstanding!
As usual, a fantastic meal, everything from the ambiance, to the food, to the service was first rate. Looking forward to our next visit.
Enjoyed a late night dinner out with my girlfriends! The food was exceptionally delicious, service/server was wonderfully attentive. Rodney’s on Broadway is one of my favorite places to drink, dine and socialize.
I've never had a bad meal here. The wait staff is so good. Tonight, Julie went the extra mile for us!
Fantastic food, service, and drinks. 10/10 would recommend for a nice family dinner
Food was delicious. Wait staff were helpful, knowledgeable and very courteous.
Mixed drinks were watered down . Cowboy Rib-eye cooked per request but outside charred. No flavor. $177 dollar meal for 2. Will not be back.
My husband and I celebrated our ninth anniversary with dinner. We started with a baked brie with shrimp, followed by a roasted veggie salad and block cut strip with a peppercorn sauce and brussel sprouts. When we arrived, we had confetti on our table and a card signed by the restaurant. We love going to Rodney's when we have a chance to. The personal touches and great service and food is so worth it.
This is our second time dining at Rodney's while visiting Lexington. We eaten at a number of great restaurants in the area, but Rodney's has become our favorite. The combination of drinks, food and service is off the charts. We started with the artichoke dip, and shared the house salad (which was definitely farm-to-table). My wife enjoyed the grouper and I had the tuna special(cooked to perfection. The specialty cocktail list hailed a fall creation, mulled over maple, while I opted for the Rodney's Old Fashion. Just a super experience. Our server Julie was just amazing. She waited on us last time, and remembered our order back then! her enthusiasm and joy, pervaded the entire experience. Ask for her! But all the servers are great there. The venue is really nice as well, an old home remodeled to give you a warm dining experience. Go to Rodney's you wont regret it!
