   People make mistakes. The waitress knocked over a glass of water when filling them so we had to get up for a table reset. Everyone was severed their dinner except one (of five). His dinner was given to another table and after a 5 minute wait as others ate theirs his arrived. The apology was not very sincere. The waitress never commented. The noise level from other tables in the upstairs dining room was too loud. The food was excellent.

   Waitress was not great and we were required to pay 20%. She didn’t tell us that gratuity was included, held the payment terminal while my husband tried to click through the options, and made it super awkward. He ended up adding more on accident to get the process over with, so I asked to amend the total. The manager was great and took care of it, but it was not a great experience for the amount of money we spent and what was supposed to be a special Mother’s Day dinner.

   Initial greeter was very friendly. Wait and serving staff were very confused on the 2nd level. Numerous appetizers and entrees broughtbto our table incorrectly.

   Great food! Only downfall is our server did not tell us about the special and we would have ordered the soft shell crab. Outside of that it was great!

    Our experience at the restaurant was mostly positive. The service was excellent—our server was courteous, allowing us to enjoy our time without feeling rushed. The food was flavorful and well-prepared, and the drinks were top-notch. The pricing felt completely justified given the quality of both the cuisine and the overall experience. However, I can’t give a full five-star rating due to a couple of unsettling moments. Upon arrival, there was noticeable tension between the gentleman at the hostess stand and the staff, which created an uncomfortable first impression. Additionally, as we were preparing to leave, an employee abruptly stormed into the kitchen, yelling loudly as though a serious altercation had occurred. Considering the state of the world today, the situation felt alarming and slightly tainted an otherwise enjoyable visit.
