Good food, Waterside View. Scallops were fantastic. Crab cake was underwhelming. Crab dip was fantastic. Shrimp/crab hush puppies were great. A great dinner evening with friends.

This restaurant was not accommodating to their dripping air conditioning unit ( unit is in the ceiling and was dripping water down on us and the table). We asked when we were first seated if we could move and the hostess stated that it would delay our wait in spite of having reservations. She then came out with a towel attached to a stick and wiped around the edges of the unit. I had to ask that my childrens food come out first because it had already been 40 mins since we placed our order and no one in my party had been served. After almost an hour, our food came out and it was cold, burnt and dry. My family was surprised by the high ratings people gave this restaurant because our experience for the first time was horrible in so many areas. Please do not waste your time or money.

We had a reservation on a Wednesday night and it was an uncomfortable experience. Other people were waiting around the bar standing in front of our table where we were at and behind us. It was chaotic. It definitely dampened the mood. We wanted a scenic view and instead we had the booth by the kitchen which did not help in the middle of the chaos. Our waitress definitely was super sweet and informed us of specials and was very enthusiastic, however the overall vibe did not make the experience pleasant.

We have dined at Rockafellers several times over a twenty-year period. Its setting is perfect for a "beachy" feel when entertaining guests or just a change in pace from the many chain restaurants in the area. The restaurant is comfortable and cozy, but not cramped with a casual ambiance. The food is consistently good and mostly outstanding, however on the most recent visit, the fried oyster entrees were not up to par with what we have come to expect over the years. The manager quickly accommodated us by replacing our entrees without hesitation. The service was outstanding and our particular server, Lauren, made the special occasion even more so with an upbeat, engaging personality, while anticipating and attending to our every need. Go during the daylight hours to make the most of the marina and water views.

We went on Thursday night for the lobster special. The lobsters were good even though the price seems to increase each year. The appetizer of the crab and shrimp hush puppies were disappointing. Very dry.

We love this restaurant - and have loved it for years!! We eat there regularly, and we take friends there regularly. Every year that we come to Virginia Beach, this restaurant is redecorated and has a fresh look. The staff is friendly and professional and well-trained. With all of the restaurants available at the beach, this is always the first on our list!!

All four dishes were a bit disappointing for the money. My stuffed shrimp tasted as if the fryer oil hadn’t been changed in weeks. Both my sister-in-law’s and mother-in-law’s prime rib were over-cooked from what they ordered and my partner’s crab cakes were burned. The A-team definitely wasn’t cooking that night. My sister-in-law had dined there two nights prior, as well. Her Rock’s Chicken was subpar, but she chalked it up to an off night in their kitchen because she said the food was better in years past, but the return visit with us was disconcerting to her. Not sure I’d return based on my initial dining experience.

The atmosphere is sweet, especially if you get a table by the windows which feature all of the boat personalities.
The server was wonderful-very positive and pleasant; she had the best attitude and knew how to sanction some of the choices we made.
The food was tasty but hot at all, (actually lukewarm) and we had two different types of appetizers and full meals. The stuffed shrimp were not filled with crabmeat; the filler was very bready.
Dessert was very good-light and cool as expected.

Food was good but not great. Service and atmosphere were lovely. I had the crab norfolk and it was dry. My husband had the seafood boil and the Old Bay was overpowering. My drink tho was spot on.

Service and ambiance were just what we were seeking. Prices were good. Drinks were good. Most of our table liked their meal. Unfortunately the Tidewater Boil was WAY over cooked (mussels were inedible), and there weren’t any potatoes in it as described. The server was able to comp that meal though and was very apologetic. We’d probably try it again.

Had a wonderful meal with our family while on vacation, we make sure we plan at least one dinner if not two while at Sandbridge Beach for a week. Everyone really enjoyed their meals and our waiter was really good with the kids and made sure everyone had everything they needed. Love the Rockafeller Relaxer!!

What a great restaurant and experience. We went for our anniversary. They were very accommodating and friendly. The food was great. We sat outside on the porch. A fantastic view of the fishing boats in the cove. We will go back to this restaurant every time we go to Virginia Beach. Thanks Ryan. You and the staff are great!!!

Good Service. Very friendly and attentive. I like the fact that they have valet parking. My eggs benedict were cooked perfectly. My sons loved their french toast. My friend ordered a veggie omelet but found a shrimp in it which he didn't care for. He doesn't eat seafood at all.
Otherwise, great setting. We will be back!
