The Roaring Fork offers bold American wood-fire cooking with fine dining atmosphere. We serve dinner nightly starting at 5pm and Happy Hour daily from 4pm - 6pm in our bar and lounge area only. Sorry, no reservations for Happy Hour. Our bar and lounge is always open seating. Reservations are always recommended for dinner. Thank you for your interest and we hope to serve you soon.

    Roaring Fork in the Stephen F. Austin Hotel never disappoints. Food, service and atmosphere is top quality and we always enjoy taking out of town guests to dinner here.

    Steaks are delightful - must do for steak Lovers. We had a 7 year old with us and they were very accommodating - FYI children’s hamburger and fries portions were large and nicely presented. Interior of the restaurant is lovely .

    Service was slow and the food and drinks left a lot to be desired. My sister had green beans that were undercooked. We did have reservations for 8:30 which could be considered late but the overall experience was not very memorable.

    The Roaring Fork is a wonderful restaurant that would appeal to anyone who loves a place that serves quality dishes with a serene with a warm ambience. The service is excellent. Located on 7th Street off Congress, it is a gem!
