The Roaring Fork offers bold American wood-fire cooking with fine dining atmosphere. We serve dinner nightly starting at 5pm and Happy Hour daily from 4pm - 6pm in our bar and lounge area only. Sorry, no reservations for Happy Hour. Our bar and lounge is always open seating. Reservations are always recommended for dinner. Thank you for your interest and we hope to serve you soon.

    Had an amazing dinner at Roaring Fork last night! The food was absolutely delicious - every dish was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. What really made the evening special was the excellent service from the staff. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The atmosphere was welcoming and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and top-notch service in downtown. We’ll definitely be back!

    I ordered a $30 fish dish and it was horrible and overcooked however, most everything else was delicious since we have a sharing family I got to taste all of it. Steak was very very good. Service was kind and friendly although there were a dishes forgotten (appetizer) and brought out incorrectly

    I ordered the 16 ounce New York strip. About 6 ounces was nothing but fat or grisle. It also wasn’t cooked to the proper temperature. It literally had no flavor either. Everything else was okay. Our waiter was excellent though.

    Ordered stuffed jalapeños. 15 mins later told you’d sold out at happy hour. Not good enough when it’s in the menu. No comp for replacement. Waiter was friendly and nice but inattentive during long periods. Shrimp on the shrimp and grits was overcooked. Hard. Waiter never asked if the food was ok. We enjoyed it and the location was most convenient. But should be better that this.

    Roaring Fork in the Stephen F. Austin Hotel never disappoints. Food, service and atmosphere is top quality and we always enjoy taking out of town guests to dinner here.
