Been here a bunch of times just might of been a off night we brought another couple with us my wife's dinner scallops with risotto she said risotto was mushy my friends steak he wanted medium to well-done came out bleeding there was a band playing so it was very noisy
We had a great experience and the food melted in our mouths when we ate.
We dined on Saturday 9/8/18, prior to viewing a popular band. this was the second time dining there, the first was a price fixed meal for a birthday party. Our good experience lead us to return to this restaurant. There were three parties going on, as well as a large group that followed the band. The staff was stretched, although a very capable manager (Tom Barretta) stepped in, quelling any issues that cropped up.
As far as the food, we ordered:
- CRUNCHY AVOCADO "FRIES" breaded west coast avocados / herb lemon dressing.
Not particularly our taste and would not recommend.
- APPLE ARUGULA SALAD baby arugula / dried cranberries / almonds gorgonzola cheese / herb dressing. We split the salad, which was brought out on separate plates and was delicious, not to mention more than sufficient for two.
- The bead was fresh and warm.
- BACON WRAPPED FILET MIGNON * topped with truffle butter / mashed potato / grilled asparagus / merlot demi glace.
This was excellent and cooked to perfection. The sides were excellent as well.
- LINGUINI WHITE CLAM SAUCE * sautèed little neck and chopped clams over linguini garlic white wine butter sauce. Also excellent with an abundance of clams in their shell, as well as minced.
All-in-all, very good evening. We intend on coming back, especially when there is live entertainment. Good food, at a reasonable price with live entertainment at no cover charge.
Service wasn’t what I expected. Food was bland. Not a place that I can say I would like to go back again it’s a shame it’s a really nice restaurant.
We’ve been there a few times now, service is great, Food is very good even though we haven’t had their sushi bar..Perfect date night place
I did not realize there was outside seating for the summer very nice. the band was good. We had a good time.
Really nice place! I was disappointed that the dress code wasn't enforced. I took my date there thinking a business casual code to find patrons in shorts and deck shoes. Sad... The service was excellent our waiter Jared was attentive and responsive. The appetizers were very good and the main entrees presentation was very pleasing to the eye.. The food was tasty and hot. Thank you!
I’m allergic to kale and spinach and maybe I should’ve asked but there’s certain foods I’ve never had a problem with. I ordered the crab cakes and I was violently violently sick in the restaurant, my significant other ordered his food and the bill came to over $100 it was not the restaurants fault that I didn’t ask what was in the crab cakes but the price and my personal experience is enough for me not to come back
Finally checked out Ristegios after passing by on multiple occasions! Happy we did! The food was awesome - we wanted to try a bit of everything and weren’t disappointed at all. We split the New England clam chowder, coconut sushi roll, burrata as an app. For dinner we had the sesame salmon and the bacon wrapped filet mignon. Topped it off with the baked Alaska- everything was so good!! Definitely making this one of our go-to places for date night. Tommy the manager is great - really invested in making his guests happy!
Was pleasantly surprised after hearing some mixed reviews. Everything was delicious and our waiter Gene was awesome. Will definitely be back.
We have dined here numerous time in the past. Always great food.
Beautiful atmosphere, ecletic menu and excellent service. You wouldn’t think you’d find a place like this on route 112 in a commercial area. Nice huge bar. Valet parking. Late night music. We dined on the patio. The stone patio and outside bar are also beautiful.
All 5 of us loved our dinners, and we all ordered something different. The service was great and the restaurant was very clean. Plenty of parking too. Great Happy Hour deals too.
Excellent food and service. People attentive. Very clean
The Restaurant is beautiful! The food is delicious and the services was impeccable. I would highly recommend!
Great menu options fresh sushi good specials
Birthday celebration with wife and friends. Excellent place all around. Excellent value and the perfect choice for our celebration. Will be going back many more times as it is our new favorite dining spot!
Great evening. Will return.
We went to test the food lol
Food excellent; service a little off tonight.
This was our second try of this restaurant because we always give a place a second look. The food was bland and terribly expensive for the quality. We spend a lot of money at restaurants and never complain as long as the quality is there and it wasn't. They have all this fanfare of bringing the meals to the table on a cart and the place looks very grand but nothing any of us ate matched what they tried to project. Extremely disappointed and our bill for 4 was $275 which would have been fine if I could say anything good about the food. Oh and it took forever and there were only 3 tables in the place. 2 hours we were there.
One of the worst service experiences we’ve had. Our server disappeared on several occasions. Prime examples include offering anther round of drinks just prior to the main course being served. That round arrived 5 minutes after dinner was completed. Nearly 20 minutes later. The finished dinner plates remained there for another 10 minutes before a partial clear occurred. Then dessert menus were offered.
We felt forced into that round due to the timing and dessert became a must with full glasses of wine in front of us.
We will not be back.
My friends and I went here for dinner for my Birthday. It’s a beautiful venue and great service. A+++
My friends and I went here on a Tuesday night for my birthday dinner. It should be noted that when I went to reserve our table of 5 through open table for 7pm it said there were not tables available so I picked 6:45 instead. When we arrived there was only a table of 2 being served. In the whole restaurant. After we were seated, one more party of 2 arrived. I will tell you that I was terrified that the food would be bad...why else would the place be empty (it actually looked closed from the outside)?! I am happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised. It was a little hard to rate the service because our waiter was training someone but even with that, considering there was literally no one else in the restaurant at one point, service was slow and poor. We were not given the prix fix menu when we were seated but when we asked for it, it was provided. It was diverse enough that everyone in our party was able to order off of it and for $30 for a four course meal was well worth the price. Most of us ordered the tempura artichoke hearts and the portion side was large and they were delicious. The cream of broccoli soup, tuna avocado and salmon avocado was also order and they were very tasty as well. Nearly the whole table ordered the steak, except for one order of sea scallops and a flounder order. As far as the taste of the steak it was marinated well, however it was not cooked properly. The cook went from medium well all the way down to "mooing." The manager came by and quickly brought me a new one. The side of diced fried potatoes were tasteless. My friend's sea scallops were delicious but they only gave her two...two sea scallops for an entree is no entree! Her side of Brussel sprouts were outrageous and everyone at the table had some. Dessert was a mediocre chocolate cake but decorated nice and mine as the birthday girl had a chocolate happy birthday plaque and a candle. We were told it gets very busy on the weekend with a live band. We will be bak
Nice evening good food and service
Took a very long time to gets apps.,even though there was only 2 other tables of 4.
Was extremely disappointed in Italian sauce, tasted like jar sauce!
It was my dads 82nd birthday last night. We had a party of 11. I ordered a cake from the restaurant ahead of time. When we arrived I asked about the cake and wanted to give them candles. The hostess told me I should ask my server and she really didn’t know much about it. I think the hostess should have asked a manager or our server to come to me and confirm the cake and take the candles from me or maybe she should have taken the candles and given them to my server. Then I gave the candles to my server while he was taking our dinner order. Seemed odd to hand them to him right in front of my dad. Our appetizers and dinners were tasty. After dinner our waiter brought out the birthday cake and we were able to take pictures of my dad with his grandchildren and the cake. They took the cake away but oddly enough our waiter didn’t take our coffee orders until 10 minutes later. Then another staff member brought out the sliced pieces of cake and started at the end of the table without acknowledging my dad. Perhaps he should have been served the first piece? You could clearly tell she didn’t know it was a birthday cake she was serving. Unfortunately the slices of cake sat in front of us for 17 minutes until our coffees arrived. So some of us ate our cake before our coffee. It just didn’t seem special and the manager who I saw walk through the dining once during the night didn’t even stop at the table. Right before we left my mom had to ask if my dad could bring home the remainder of the cake. Our waiter brought it to our table and we kind of felt like they weren’t going to give it to us unless we asked for it. Seemed like no one really treated any of it like the special occasion that it was. Customer service is so important and we felt they missed the mark. On a positive note the valet parking was appreciated since it was raining so hard that night and the ambiance and decor of the restaurant is really nice.
Great sushi, seafood (oysters were fresh and delicious). Excellent band (Drive Cars Tribute Band) and great fun dancing!
Ristegios makes special occasions special. Service is good. Special menu have enough choices for everyone.
We have been here many times, good food and the staff is very attentive. We've been here many time for dinner and just for drinks and dancing.
Place was super nice table was ready to go had my name on it which was impressive , service was great they were polite n on top of their game. Love their sushi but the stuffed pasta wasn't that great. The live entertainment was great. I knew it was gonna be a fun night when the doorman/bouncer Ray had a great smile on his face n a nice firm handshake n he said enjoy your night .
Wondered why there was so many open spots on Open table when we made the reservation. Now I know why. Waitress came over quickly for our drink order and took our orders. But, then rarely came by again to see up. She was taking care of the table next to us, even grabbed their bill and went to pass us right by without even asking if we needed anything...we had to ask for the check then.
My husband did not like the sauce on the rigatoni and my son said the scallops were just ok. I ordered the sushi which was good though.
Not good enough to go back though...passable restaurant but nothing great.
Food and service good, very busy and crowded which increased the noise level.
I had a reservation and arrived on time. While we were escorted to the dining room right away, our table wasn't available. We were then ushered back and forth three times, with much confusion over being seated. Once seated, the service was very poor and slow. Thirty , yes thirty minutes passed before bread made it to the table! I was tempted to pay for my drink and leave but decided to stay, hoping it would be worth it. I had held my 40th birthday there and loved it but the dinner experience was simply terrible! (food was mediocre)
I have gone twice and have enjoyed a variety of food !!! Delicious
We were with 2 other couples, the bartender Natasha was GREAT.... the band 12X was amazing, so talented and FUN! Our food was DELICIOUS..... the flounder franchese has me wanting MORE!!! We’ll be back certainly
We went to try it for Restaurant Week, was not thrilled with the choices. I ordered MacnCheese for an appetizer, while the taste was good the pasta was way to hard and chewy for my taste. I ordered Salmon and the vegetables were undercooked, maybe it was just my taste, but was not happy with it. We ordered off the Restaurant week menu, and since it did not have a lot of choices my friend ordered steak and that was an extra $6, which I thought was absurd.
Anyway, will not be returning here...
Sirloin perfection. Cabernet, perfect. Staff, accommodating. Ambience, something missing. Pricy.
Very disappointed. My stuffed flounder did not agree well. Service was not as attentive as in past experiences. Will not return. Too bad because this was a favorite of our for a long time. Things have changed and not for the better at this restaurant.
We were with a couple and she found a little piece of glass in her chicken parm. The manager took it off the bill but still. Food was OK not worth the money.
