We went to try it for Restaurant Week, was not thrilled with the choices. I ordered MacnCheese for an appetizer, while the taste was good the pasta was way to hard and chewy for my taste. I ordered Salmon and the vegetables were undercooked, maybe it was just my taste, but was not happy with it. We ordered off the Restaurant week menu, and since it did not have a lot of choices my friend ordered steak and that was an extra $6, which I thought was absurd.
Anyway, will not be returning here...
Sirloin perfection. Cabernet, perfect. Staff, accommodating. Ambience, something missing. Pricy.
Very disappointed. My stuffed flounder did not agree well. Service was not as attentive as in past experiences. Will not return. Too bad because this was a favorite of our for a long time. Things have changed and not for the better at this restaurant.
We were with a couple and she found a little piece of glass in her chicken parm. The manager took it off the bill but still. Food was OK not worth the money.
We walked in and, with the exception of a couple at the bar, were the only people there yet they still asked if we had a reservation. We sat and were the only people in the dining room the entire time we were there, so at least it was quiet and private. The service was good but the food was awful. I got a simple chicken parm and could not even finish it because it tasted so poorly. My girlfriend tried it and agreed that she wouldn't finish it either. She got chicken francese and she said it was ok, but nothing special. We were in and out in less than a half hour because we didn't even feel it was worth relaxing and talking there. Very disappointing. I would not go back.
Nice ambience. Decent food. Mediocre service. Food came out in a timely manner however barely saw the server.
I feel that for the money we paid, the food was sub par. It was barely luke warm. The only good thing was the omelet station
The food was horrible. From the scallops to the chicken parm. The bacon wrapped pork and the crabmeat stuffed flounder was all horrible. We came with 5 people and only the chicken franchas was good. Never again!!!
It was our first time there. The restaurant is very nice inside and out, bar area is very large. Both of our meals were delicious. However it is a bit on the pricey side.
Service was slow, but waitress and food were lovely
Birthday celebration. Extremely salty mashed potatoes. Everything else was very good.
The whole experience was on point! The place was so classy and nice and the staff was great taking pictures for us and all. It was my birthday..well spent.
The restaurant is very pretty and the service was fine. I felt it was a little pricey for type of restaurant it was but all in all it was fine and I would go back there probably to listen to the music and have apps at the bar.
Great meal and service by Salena. Tom , the manager was very "hands on" also and made great conversation as well. A superb restaurant in Medford.
Baked clams were more seasoned bread crumbs. Fried calamari was fresh and tender. Swordfish was so over cooked you had to cut it with a knife. On a positive note a second entree came out pretty fast. Waiter was excellent and apologetic.
went for dinner saturday night. Didnt realize they have live music saturdays, band was really good. Had dinner then went to the bar area for the music. The service is great, very attentive, the atmosphere is the nicest in this area by far. The food is really good. Sushi is excellent, ristigio roll, hot mama roll highly reccommend. The steak was really good for an entree.
Excellent and attentive service. We enjoyed not being rushed and quiet ambiance.
Very nice variety of foods and well prepared with excellent pricing. Will return
I was quite disappointed this trip with the food.
The service was off as well. Maybe just a bad day
Food was excellent, Service was excellent, setting was perfect. Will definitely return and recommend to friends and family
Service was wonderful as was the taste of the food.
Service was fine food quality was good but unfortunately it was cold.
Absolutely amazing service. Took my fiancé here for Valentine’s Day and the food was incredible
This restaurant was amazing! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to go out for a nice meal. I had dinner there for Valentine’s Day and it was very romantic.
Didn’t know they had a fixed menu
Couldn’t order from regular one
Male manager was kinda rude
Had to valet park took forever for them to get our car there wasn’t enough staff
A group of us were looking forward to a wonderful dining experience that turned out to be a huge disappointment. I was excited for our dinner reservations mainly because I was finally able to check out this restaurant I've been wanting to go to for a while also none of us had been to this restaurant before. I had a few conversations early that afternoon with a very nice young lady, who took assigned us to their best waiter, Taylor and I mentioned that were celebrating 2 birthdays at our table and notes were made. Upon entering the restaurant nobody even acknowledged us, no one greeted us not directed us to the coat check. It was confusing and unorganized. As it was pouring out and we needed to hang our coats. The girls at the front seemed surprised when I approached them about being seated. Nice ambiance, the food was good, portions a modest, could do a little more on the portions. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food, expect one person in our party who was very disappointed with the primavera. I enjoyed the black bass dish, it was very good. I need to add that the bus boy came over and put his arm in front on the person seated next to me as he was reaching across and had his arm pit in the face of the person next to me as he attempted to pour water into my glass, not good and not professional! Anyway we continued to dessert, coffee was served and it was extremely bitter and tasteless. We then ordered dessert, as we were waiting for the waiter to bring a dessert for our birthday guests, as stated earlier I was told notes were made about the birthdays....... nothing was presented, I motioned the waiter over about the 2 birthdays and he said ok ....... and still nothing, moments later.....I motioned him again and whispered in his ear again about the two birthdays and he said ok....again. Needless to say nothing ever came. Waiters need to pay attention to detail! Note to management everyone working the floor, needs professional training!
Restigos was awesome! The service was as always great! The staff was very helpful and ready to assist you with anything you need. The band they had was 20 Highview which is the best band on Long Island for Dance Music. They had the place hopping. Our dinner was excellent.
The food was great, the service was spectacular!
Great place to enjoy a meal.
Nice décor, good food, management takes pride in all they do.
Lovely, cozy restaurant ....comfortable and warm...staff is friendly and accommodating.....food was out of this world scrumptious! We will be back soon....
great dining experience!!
Service was pretty bad. The parking was very confusing. Food was decent but nothing to rave over.
What a find!
This is truly a gem and a wonderful discovery in North Patchogue! The free standing building with valet parking is beautiful, topped only by the gorgeous interior!
It was extremely difficult to chose from the price-fixed menu and regular menu, but I opted for the latter.
I started with the pear and ginger martini, which was awesome. The bread basket was also unique, fresh and hard to resist. This was followed by the blood orange martini, also good. My appetizer from the Japanese menu was avocado topped with crab. I have been salivating over the thought of this for days on end, that is how amazing it was! My main meal was the marinated sliced sirloin which was very flavorful and very tender. It was served on a bed of potatoes, and if there is a complaint, that would be it. The potatoes were more like deep fried home fries that you would have with breakfast. I did not care for them or the strange gravy, but am able to overlook that because everything else was scrumptious. For dessert the three of us shared the baked Alaska, which was awesome.
Tyler, the waiter, was attentive. It's a bit pricey, but I do not mind when the food, drinks, and service are well above par. This is a great place! Give it a whirl!
Maybe they should have waited for people to have finished their dinners before physically removing tables from the dining area. Felt like we were being kicked out.
Ristegios was participating in restaurant week so we decided to try it out based on a recommendation from a friend. It was our first time there. We enjoyed the offerings on the restaurant week menu. I had the mac 'n cheese appetizer which was delicious. My hubby had the caesar salad which he also enjoyed. He had the chicken special, and I had the marinated Denver sirloin (also on the regular menu); both were great. We were impressed and will go back again.
Went to Ristegio's for Long Island Restaurant Week. Very classy venue with a nice atmosphere. Good menu to choose from. Unique fare from American to Italian to Sushi. Started with the Spicy Tuna Roll, had the Denver Sirloin for an entree, then the cheesecake for desert. All courses were delicious and brought out in a timely manner. Would definitely go back again.
Very classy and luxe looking restaurant with above average food and very attentive staff. We’ll be back again. It’s weird that it’s in a decidedly unglamorous neighborhood (suburban strip shopping centers intermingled with tattoo shops and no-tell motel).
This was our first time at the restaurant for LI Restaurant Week 2018. We were very happy we tried it. The food was great; the service attentive; the portions large; the atmosphere very upscale and beautiful. My wife had the sliced steak and it was extremely tender. I had the filet of sole and it was wonderful. The cheesecake was well worth the calories. We will be back to dine again.
Food was great staff was friendly but the place was a little noisy. The atmosphere was nice the decor was very nice
Fantastic as always!!!
Very disappointed my drink and app was the only good thing all 4 dinners were cold and raw
Great food great atmosphere great service
