    We were originally seated outside in a very noisy area. We asked our hostess to sit in a quieter spot. She moved us but didn’t react happily to have to do it. The food was delicious, especially the goat cheese appetizer and the strawberry shortcake dessert.

    Beautiful evening to sit on the deck. The reservation said it was my birthday and they made sure I felt seen. I loved the service and food. A little loud but the Pacer game started.

    Ric’s Burger- best burger I have ever had- no joke! Spicy just like I like it! I hosted a table of 12 and everyone agreed- highly recommend.

    The outside patio is great to enjoy lunch. We decided to order the Breaded Tenderloin Sandwich with house made potato chips. The breading came off the tenderloin and the tenderloin had gristle in it. They put minimum toppings such as lettuce and pickle on the sandwich. The house made potato chips tasted stale. The bread was not fresh. We also ordered their Strawberry Shortcake which I don’t recommend as they had what seems to be artificial shipped cream in it. The cake tasted dry and unappealing and the strawberries were green. LOL. I find that most restaurants are focusing on the financial bottom line instead of focusing on the quality of food these days. A sad time. Also, it appears that either the owner or a manager will parked on the drive by the door which can impede drop offs - not a thought gesture on their part.

    Booked a reservation at 9:30pm I arrived early at 9:10. I was asked if we wanted to be inside or outside. Inside as I had my mother and child because my mother has an ankle issue with walking far then was told they no longer have any servers in the dinning room to take tables so we go outside as she’s walking us to tell us “you guys must order fast because the kitchen closes soon.” Okay that’s fine. We sit never seeing a server for about 13 minutes then for him to come and say once again “you guys have to order now because the kitchen is about to close” no hi my name is no may I get you a drink nothing we order as we already knew what we were having. Food was very rushed and as I hate to complain but the brick chicken came out raw I asked for it to be cooked a little longer as it wasn’t even 10 yet and it came back in 5 minutes burnt to a crisp! Like they just threw it in on broil so they can get us out of there the whole top was black and burnt and inside now dry and lifeless sides were old and hard as well but to rush people and treat them less than is unexceptional it was still a big crowd there when we left and people to come inside after us an get to be seated inside but if you don’t want people to dine between 9:00pm and 9:30 maybe you guys should take that options off of your list I don’t expect perfection but common courtesy is always nice.

    Excellent service. Food came out quickly but they let our group of 8 take as long as we like. Keep in mind they do 20% tip to parties over 6.

    I had a wonderful experience at Rick’s Boatyard Cafe. My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Our waiter was wonderful and very helpful and friendly with suggestions. Will definitely be coming back there again soon
