Rick Erwin’s Nantucket Seafood

Our server was great! The Cesear salad was average at best. My surf & turf was very good, but the mashed potatoes were stiff & Luke warm. The cheesecake was also average at best. All in all too expensive.
The table cloth was dirty - it had several wine stains on it. The server brought out the salads at the same time as the appetizer. The fried green tomatoes had too much topping - you could not taste the green tomato. The mashed potatoes and salmon were not warm. A disappointing evening for the money we spent.
Amazing food. Service was great and we were well taken care of the whole visit.
The last two visits Rick has failed to deliver. We had the three course which was supposed to be swordfish, switched to Wahoo. The Wahoo was really thick in the middle and was served with a raw cold center. The waitress said the kitchen had failed to tell the waitstaff that they were serving this fish "rare". So if there are degrees of doneness for a fish filet this fat (understandable) then the customer should get to select the "doneness" in my opinion, just like a steak. I even told the waitress medium would be acceptable, but this fish had a cold, raw center. It was returned to us well done (i.e. dry and not very palatable). Additionally, my half stuffed lobster tail served open face was also underdone, but it was returned acceptable although I felt the size of the lobster was quite small and they didn't even remove all the yucky stuff from inside the body shell. This used to be our go to place for seafood in Greenville, but that's twice in a row we were served unacceptable food!! Service was good and the manager offered a mere apology.
The service was great. We had a great Dinner, to start our weekend out of town. We enjoy Greenville for the weelkend.
Enjoyed our second dinner at Rick Erwjn over two day weekend in Greenville:
Food was excellent, service by Hunter and Eric over the two nights was exceptional well trained perfectly description of the specials, could not have anything more to make the experience perfect.
The food and service was great. Went during restaurant week and get a great 3 course meal. Will definitely return again.
My steak was well done but they returned it and it was done correctly. Our waitress was very good
Service was exceptional and food was amazing. Will definitely done here again.
The Salmon Cerveche(?), service, atmosphere excellent
Kevin was excellent!
Great atmosphere. Excellent service
Very good quality food. Quite expensive. Great for special occasions.
We loved everything - food and service outstanding -
Unfortunately some guests don’t know how to behave and act like they are in a beer pub.
But our visit was very pleasant. Thank you staff and management!
Molly provided upbeat service!
We celebrated our engagement, table side in the bar area and felt extremely comfortable and happy!
Valet a plus !!!
This has become our favorite restaurant alin Greenville. The food is absolutely amazing. Having the ice skating rink right outside is a perk too (good people watching). From their steak to their seafood, definitely recommend this restaurant. We have eaten at every restaurant in Greenville (as dinner date of two), and this is still our favorite restaurant.
We had a wonderful family meal and will definitely be coming back to dine. The staff went out of there way to make us feel welcomed and very accommodating.
Nantucket Seafood Grill is among the very best restaurants in Greenville. Creative food, impeccable service and a beautiful setting always makes this restaurant a real treat. Ask for a table near the window for a really romantic experience. It's simply delightful.
She Crap soup delicious., Cayenne swordfish yummy, spicy.
The surf and turf was fantastic. Our server was great to start with, but lost interest in our table halfway through our dinner. It wasn’t even busy.
Worst service we have ever had at a restaurant downtown! We waited 10 minutes between sitting down and waiting on a server. We ordered drinks and waited another 15 minutes before we saw her again. I asked a question about the menu and she stated she would be right back after she sat her tray down. We didn’t see her again for another 20 minutes. Didn’t think it took that long to sit a tray down. The steak was bland to say the least. The only good thing were the drinks. We had our car valet parked and was shocked that the attendant didn’t even have his shirt tucked in. If I’m coming to a nice restaurant and spending the amount of money we did, I expected better service from beginning to end. We will never return!
We ate at Nantucket's before going to the Peace Center. The manager was so nice to get us a table at 6:30 so that we could eat and be at the show on time. The food and the service was excellent.
Not for those watching their wallets, but very good and great location if out for a night on the town.
Had brunch with my Mother and we loved it! Met Kimberly the manager, she was so wonderful. Chef Tony also came out and said hello, not just to us but to the other tables. Service was quick. We loved being able to see the skaters on the rink. Great place, can't wait to go back!
We were very disappointed in the seating......we are very regular customers and we made reservation well ahead but they put us in a very busy traffic area with waiters coming and going. The table couldn't have been any smaller. I always order the turf and surf and it usually comes with drawn butter.....this time it had a heavy gravy over the lobster , plus the meal was lukewarm and we had to send it back.
The waiter (who did a fine job) and manager were apologetic but the dining experience was far from what we expected. We will return though!
Excellent service and overall the food was decent. The bread could use more flavor and my fish was good, but not great. A little pricey, but I knew that before I sat down.
We were seated at a small table right up against the wall with limited elbow room. The ambiance was less than desirable and food was tasteless. We ordered the 3-course meal, we were told that they would box the desert to go because there was not enough time to get desert prior to the Play at the Peace Center, despite the fact we had 1.5 hours. Needless to say, the pie arrived boxed 5 minutes later.
Will never return.
Nantucket's never disappoints. Very accommodating of my dairy allergy!
Although the food was good. Pricing would seem to indicate that it would have been excellent. Steak was not hot service was just OK and ambience was good but not excellent. I believe the reason this place does well is because of location.
We experienced Wonderful food and Service. Will be back.
Peace Center - out of town..
It was our first time here, we will be back! I got the seafood tower! By far the best lobster tails I’ve ever had!
We were 6 for New Years Eve. This is the 6th year in a row that we've held our family NYE at a Rick Erwin's Restaurant. Five times at Nantucket and last year at East side. I had made my reservation though open table as I have all the other years. Every time we've been at Nantucket they have stuck us in the back room, which we all dislike. This year, I called and left a message to please not put us in that room. About a week before NYE I got a call from the manager who assured me we would have a wonderful table...and he was true to his word!!! Four of us ordered the Lobster Thermador and two ordered the Salmon. All was very good. Our server was very good, very professional and we had a beautiful round table in the center of the restaurant which made conversation perfect. We will keep coming back to Rick Erwin restaurants. Oh yes, Mr. Erwin himself stopped at our table to wish us a NYE...he's a great guy and runs a wonderful business.
We had a great dining experience. Everything was top tier.
Nantucket is an excellent (albeit high end) restaurant. We're not accustomed to going to a high end restaurant but when we do, we like Nantucket. Food was excellent and the atmosphere is great. Our server was attentive and the meal was well-presented. Basically, we enjoyed the whole experience.
Every New Years Eve my family comes together at your restaurant. This year it was not at all like years past and we will make other plans next year based on the service we received.
As always, a spectacular experience. Food is excellent as is the service and the reception. I always feel welcome and am treated so well by everyone. It is a wonderful establishment and I highly recommend Nantucket for a great dining time.
We opted for a staycation for NYE and stayed at the Courtyard and made reservations for 5p because I waited to 5 weeks out and everything was scooped up. My first time at Nantucket and it didn't disappoint. Service was on point and we felt very well take care of by our server. My wife and I had the Petite Filet and the pinot demi was sooooo good. I'm glad that we went but sad it took me so long to go. Looking forward to returning and trying the Coriander Rubbed Swordfish.
