1. Lost/"never got" our reservation for 11 people so no table waiting for us upon arrival. 2. Extremely slow service - took a long time to place our order, an hour for the first plates to arrive and then they had to go cook the dishes they neglected to prepare the first time. The only remotely redeeming aspect was that they comped the dishes that were forgotten. Management was nice enough but didn't go far enough to correct the issues created by the staff.

My girlfriend and I chose this restaurant because of the menu and because she is a vegetarian with poultry allergies. When we got there they only offered a Thanksgiving buffet which made us a little uneasy because we did not know what had chicken stock in it. We were not aware before hand that the buffet was only going to be the only option. The manager there was quick to tell us what ingredients were in the foods and even offered to make a special Mac & Cheese just for her. We were very thankful for such great service especially on a holiday. I was able to eat everything at the buffet and it was just like eating at home. We had a great experience.

The food was excellent - I think I could eat their fish tacos every day!! The food took a while but I think they were overwhelmed by the turnout due to the lovely Indian summer weather! So nice to still be able to sit on the deck!

Great outdoor patio with beautiful views of the ski runs of Steamboat Springs Ski Resort. We ate outside on the patio, the food was good and the service was great!

Usually it's a terrific spot. This time not so much, service was super slow -server was great but had way too many tables for one person , he had to cover inside and outside. We waited a very long time just for water, appetizer came out with the meal-with ice cold fries, drinks took entirely too long. Overall not the experience we usually have.

Some folks who recently moved to town had never been to Rex's, so we suggested meeting there for dinner. It went straight to the top of their list of favorite places to eat in town! From the shrimp BLT to the caesar salad with sea bass, the food was superb. Although the weather didn't cooperate with our original plan to sit on the patio with a view of the mountain, our booth inside was comfortable and our server attentive.
