The styleish, arty restaurant and craft cocktail bar is the vision of Jeremy Swan, a star of TLC's "America's Worst Tattoos," and wife Vanessa Urzua Swan, who has perfected her recipes with her grandmother's home-cooking as its foundation. The Swans credit their friends' enthusiastic response to her salsa and healthy home cooking style as the element that fired up their ambition to open a second restaurant. However, Jeremy acknowledges that they were just as passionate about the idea of making Mexican dishes from hormone free, non-GMO meats and fish. Their hand-cooked chips are the perfect accompaniment to their now-fabled salsa. However, be careful, as you will want to save room for meat, vegetarian and vegan entrees. Mi Corazon is dedicated to finding and using the best ingredients for our recipes

The restaurant is super cute and if the weather is nice, they will open up the huge doors that go out onto the sidewalk. Really good food. My friend loved the chilaquiles and I really enjoyed the Americano. You get A LOT of food for the price. $17 bottomless mimosas are a good deal and they are not stingy with the champagne!

Mi Corazon is a neighborhood gem! I have the great pleasure to be within walking distance and I’ve already been 3 times in the last 3 months and every time is a hit! I’ve recommended Mi Corazon to several people and each one of them has gone and really enjoyed themselves. The margaritas are VERY tasty. Thanks so much!!

Really nice place, we went around 10:30am on a Sunday and there was no wait, food was really solid and the writer was super nice.

Waiters were very accommodating in turning down the music! Two people at our table had hearing aides which makes hearing conversations a challenge to begin with and the loud music made it impossible. Service was a little slow, but was very friendly. Food was tasty and healthy and margaritas excellent!
