   I cannot say anything bad except that the food was terrible. Four of us went for a 7:30 reservation. The restaurant was empty. Didn't think much at first, but with an empty restaurant one would figure the service would be good. That was not the case. The help was more interested in watching soccer than waiting on our table. The real problem was the food. We all ordered various steak dishes that basically was not eaten. If a waiter came to your table to clear it and saw the entrees still on the plate barely touched, I would think they would ask why. We didn't even want it wrapped. I found this place online. Good things were said. None of it held true for this place. I cannot recommend this place.

   The service was exceptional and they make you feel special. The drinks were very good and the food was well-curated. Even the coffee was good. One dark spot was we ordered the ribeye for $48. It was very chewy not worth the price. The butter was also old and tasted like refrigerator. The music was nice but lacked diversity with the songs repeating throughout the evening.

   NOT a fan - the food was okay, poor value for the hight price, but the worst was the porterhouse steak. Not only was it overcooked, it made us sick. The tables were mismatched (not a joke) so we probably should have run then, tbh.

   It all depends on price. Gaucho is moderate. If you want outstanding and are willing to pay for it - go to Capital Grille

   Because if previous reviews we almost didn’t go. I am glad we did. Food and service excellent. We had the dinner for 2 which was enough for 4. Would definitely go back!!

   Great waiter. Good skirt steak. Went on restaurant week! Best creme brûlée. Liked WP ambience better. 😊

   It was restaurant week and the menus were updated for the reduced prices but our entree was further changed to have fewer ingredients in line with the price, per our waiter. Not what we expected since we never saw the full menu just the restaurant week menu We have loved this place in the past but will not return

   I tried Gaucho because there was a special restaurant week menu, and I wouldn't go back. The waiter was clearly inexperienced and overwhelmed, even though the restaurant wasn't crowded. The manager was invisible for most of the time we were there, and she didn't seem to do much even when she was visible. We had to ask for drink menus in addition to food menus, and we had a difficult time getting our waiter's attention--which seemed to be a common experience for other diners with other waiters. The runners bringing our order from the kitchen provided better service than the wait staff. The food wasn't bad, but not outstanding. If you're going out for a steak, there are better options in Stamford.

    Food was excellent but the service was horrible. Drinks took forever, food came out wrong and waiter never checked on us.
