Such a fun place, we loved our experience! It was an adventure for the kids and adults alike. We had a nice surprise as the magician came to our table to perform and it was magical! Highly recommend this place for some fun music, and a great atmosphere!

I updated our reservation from 4 to 6 very last minute and host was happy to help. We took our friend from out of town and he loved the vibe. Great ambiance, drinks and food.

Cool place with a good vibe. Small plate food was good but I thought the drinks were just ok. Finding parking can be tough, especially during summer, because it’s close to the beach.

Fantastic bar and restaurant leaning strongly into tiki. The uniqueness commences with the speakeasy entrance through a freezer door from the kitchen. Look for the tiki out front to signal the entry. You can google images for the decor but think neon meets Hawaii and Polynesia. The first, and lesser, knock I have is the food portion size. My kids had to have 3 entrees (Korean burrito, nood noodles and the bang bang shrimp) and they still weren’t completely full. I had the same burrito and wasn’t full either. I will say all the entrees were delicious and I would recommend them. The second knock is the music. I wasn’t prepared for the loud club music. I do t need traditional exotica but the music and the volume seemed at odds with the rest of the ambiance. Everything else was great. I tried 2 non traditional but still tiki inspired drinks and enjoyed them both. Our server was great. She was friendly and attentive. All in all, I would definitely recommend The Grass Skirt.

Happy hour was fantastic here and Violet in particular was an absolute joy! We didn't want to leave. Will definitely be back....again and again!

There was 5 separate tables with children. So expect a loud screaming cry. The service is wonderful/amazing! However, the children are extremely hard to over look.

Went for my boyfriend’s birthday. We initially got sat right next to the fire and I was burning up!! Luckily they moved us but it took about an hour. Pretty sure in the reservation I specifically said I wanted to be sat inside (unless I clicked the wrong option? It was a lil confusing but I feel like I clicked inside) Nevertheless, we were sat right by the fire. To be fair, I always overheat. The vibes were cool but I was trying to surprise my bf with this speakeasy and as we walked by, you could totally tell there was something there by the loud music. It took away from the secretive vibe imo. Drinks were a bit on the pricier side but that’s to be expected at a place like this. It was an okay time overall!
