Stable Café is open daily from 11AM to 2PM for guests of Biltmore Estate.

Satisfy your appetite for house-smoked meats, Carolina barbeque, grilled burgers, and other southern favorites in a historic setting that was once the estate's horse stable.

Biltmore tickets or an annual pass are required to visit all restaurants on the estate. For seasonal evening events, dinner reservations for all the guests in the party must have an evening-specific ticket or be an estate lodging guest. Dinner menu is a three-course, prefix menu.

The convenient location next to Biltmore House, friendly hospitality, and delectable food make the Stable Café a popular stop after visits to the house and gardens. The ambiance of the historic surroundings in the renovated stable complex is unmatched.

We’ve been going to the Biltmore for years and every trip we eat at The Stables. This year as usual, the service was spot on! However, what has happened with the portions and food quality? I can remember when the sampler was enough for 2 people to eat & actually served on a gorgeous platter showcasing the food. The tin plate that was brought to us was so mediocre, especially for the price! The potatoes for our chicken were also so overdone. We did not complain as it appears this is the standard now. But if def makes me rethink the food choice.

Service and food was excellent!! Ask for Cody he had terrific suggestions and very personable. We tried the cornbread and it was delicious 😋

Great place to eat prior to the house tour. Iced tea was delicious and free-flowing. Salad and chicken wings, wonderful.

Highly recommend dining here while visiting Biltmore Estate. Food is very good and the staff are very attentive and helpful.

Exceptional service - from host stand to service - smooth sailing. Lovely cool clean building with old iron stables that you are literally in while you eat - and its very classy. They took the time to renovate it and spared no expense to ensure guest comfort. We were seated quickly, we were greeted promptly, and while you know the biltmore has 1000s of people in every direction -we felt like we were getting prompt and warmly directed service. I live in Asheville and have visited the house or grounds 100x over the last 50ish years - my first time in Stable Cafe and looking forward to my next visit which wont be long since I bring visitors here when they're travelling from out of town - will be sure to include Stable Cafe as part of the house and garden tour.

The food and service were not exceptional! Thank you Cody for a memorable experience. We loved the cornbread appetizer, our cocktails, and Southern food.
