   The food was excellent and nicely priced. Two of us shared Fish & Chips for a late lunch meal plus separate cups of soup, and our third party took care of his order by himself. The service was excellent; our server was very helpful, quick to respond to our requests with a friendly and happy personality. We spend half a year in Boston each year and this was one of the best meals in our experience.

   We love the atmosphere of Joe’s waterfront. Our table was ready for our reservation and our table was the one I requested. We thought the service was a bit slow, and we had to ask for drinks, etc. The server didn’t ask if we needed refills or wanted dessert, she just brought the check.

    Live in the area and wanted something quick and easy. Saw an open reservation and have been in summer to sit outside before. Restaurant was almost completely empty. Our server hailey was great, but that was just about the only good thing there. The food came out cold and not great quality. Mid dinner we looked over and saw a mouse scurrying across the dining room. Want to like this place as the Newbury St location is great, but just was a serious disappointment on many fronts.

    We had a great lunch! Lump crab appetizer was so good and my daughter loved the clam chowder! We had the chicken blt, chicken caeser salad and quinoa bowl. All were excellent, the quinoa didn’t have a ton of flavor but was served super hot which i love! Only complaint was the jalapeño margarita. It came in a tiny glass packed with so much ice the straw couldn’t go right in. Tasted like limeade and was maybe a 6 ounce drink total. So bummed!

    Like many restaurants there was a painful wait fit the check . Machines as in Europe are needed to speed up the process

    I really like Joe's Waterfront and usually eat there when I am visiting Boston. The service is very friendly and attentive and the ambiance is warm and clubby. I have been there in the summer when you can eat on the patio, which is great overlooking the wharf. On my recent visit all was well, and the food was very good, but not excellent. I thought the shrimp in my shrimp cocktail were slightly "tough" and chewy (best that I can describe it) and my salmon was slightly over-cooked. Still enjoyed the meal though and will be back soon.

    My server was excellent. Very attentive. We have been experiencing bad service with the shortage of staff after COVID. It was a pleasant surprise. The food was great. My grandson's chicken tenders were the best I've ever seen and I have seen quite a few. The Reuben sandwich was quite a surprise with pulled corn beef instead of the usual deli meet. It was wonderful..........

    We make a quick reservation the night before for a date night while staying in the city. We were seated right away, but the service was extremely slow. We had to keep looking for our waitress to try and ask where our food was. First we got some margaritas to drink and split a caesar salad. However, the salad came with chicken on it which we did not request. The salad also took 30+ minutes to come out. For mains, I got a cold lobster roll and fries. The lobster roll was sub-par at best, and the fries were way too greasy and soggy. Overall, not my favorite dining experience of the trip.

    Unfortunately this was not what we had hoped. Hot drinks weren’t hot, food wasn’t hot, no lobster available and waited an unusually long time for everything even though there were very few tables.

    It took about 20 mins for our waitress to show…and then she asked “what do want” never asked how our food was or if we wanted drink refills. We were there on vacation and we’re ready to have a few drinks and a dessert but the service was so slow we just dinner. We also had to walk our bill up to the bar because she took so long to come get payment. Great food and nice view but the service was terrible!!! Especially since this was a pricey restaurant.
