   Delicious! We had scallops and venison, and both were fantastic. The venison was incredibly tender! Not easy to do. Wonderful service, too.

    First visit to this restaurant. Love the location, atmosphere. Friendly and attentive service. Food was ok; pretty standard beet salad; Pork Shank was gristly and bland. Overpriced for the quality.

    Was great but service was not. First the waiter kept trying to rush us. Even gave us our check before we barely got into our dessert. Then when check came, my friend paid his share in cash and I paid mine with credit. They charged my card the full amount. They fixed it when I pointed it out. Haven’t seen my credit card reverse the first bill.

    They've put a lot of effort into making this historic building a delightful place to eat. My only complaint is that the handicap entrance is not self-serve. Instead you have to ring a doorbell and wait/hope/pray that someone hears and comes to let you in. Made me feel like a second class citizen.

    Our service was great but my eggs were poached hard and were cold (so was hollandaise) by the time meal go tot table. Granted, we were a large group and timing can be tricky sometimes. Otherwise, our meal was very nice. I do think the donut muffins are overpriced. But the coffee is legit! Thank you for a fun birthday brunch.

    We really enjoyed our dinner at Raven & Rose following a theater matinee. We came for the pub menu but unfortunately were unable to sit there because it is an adults only bar area, so we kept our reservation in the main dining room. The children's menu was nice for my daughter and we shared a few starters and an entree. The service was great and the food, although pricy with smaller portions, was very delicious. The risotto was a highlight of the meal.

    We’ve eaten here multiple times before but most recently the service was just not present. To be Fair, they did service our drinks and appetizer in a timely fashion but then we waited about 25 minutes After finishing our appetizers before our entrées arrived.We arrived on time for 545 reservation and it was 655 before our meals arrived. This meant we had to eat in a rash in order to make it to our 730 event. We wish we had just gone up to the bar upstairs where we feel that the service would’ve been much better. Food was still delicious.

    We had the mussels and liver pate for appetizers and both were delicious. Dinner was rabbit and venison. Besides being taste tantalizing they were incredibly tender. No time for desert since we had a show to get to. I hope we will have time next visit. The only negative was the noise level as it is in so many restaurants. I hate shouting to be heard by someone across the table. Service could not have been better. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Will definitely go again. I want to try the pub upstairs.

    Valentine’s Day- They were very busy, and behind on reservation times. We still received very good service, and the food and drinks did not suffer due to the busyness. It was delicious, fun and the staff were great.

    This rating is primarily for holidays. We’ve had numerous decent experiences here (around 20), usually on weekdays. I’d give those experience 3-3.5 stars. It’s been reliable, and usually is completely open seating. But twice now on holidays, with their overpriced fixed menu, we’ve had a terrible experience. Waited 45 minutes on an 8pm reservation made way in advance. They oversell them, we end up upstairs in seating they swung by the Walmart picnic section to accommodate, the food comes out of order, incorrect (5 mistakes), the scallops (we didn’t hedge, we both got them) were overcooked and fishy (and given the disarray and wait, saw no point in sending them back; we’ve had scallops here on non-mess-hall nights and it’s been fine), twice had ordered a drink (once while waiting and another at the table) that just never came. Nothing at all special about the food, and the experience overall left a lot to be desired. We’re never getting tricked into their holiday menu again, probably not worth it anywhere frankly.

    We went on valentine's day and it was packed so I can overlook not being seated right away. But the host was very gruff and kind of unprofessional. The food was unreal though. My wife had the seared scallops and I had the filet.

    Went on Valentine's Day. Menu was special, 4 courses, 3 choices at each course. Plus an amuse bouche to begin. Food was outstanding, and very accommodating for our gluten-free and "vegetarian" requirements. Wonderful combination of familiar and less common ingredients. Excellent wine and cocktail options. Seated upstairs in Rookery bar. Ambience not outstanding but fine. Service very good. Expensive but worth it.

    We presented, as I believe may do, for a pre-Keller Auditorium meal. Seated promptly at 5:45, we made it out the door by shortly after 7 pm, easily in time to get to our seats at the theater. Our server was attentive and informative; I suspect the delay in the arrival of our cocktails and then our entree was as much the kitchen getting slammed with orders as it was any intrinsic slowness in the process otherwise. Cocktails were excellent and there was a good selection of beverages, alcoholic and otherwise. Caesar salad was to my liking; the sardines and saltiness was a bit much for my wife. Entrees are somewhat limited but everyone in our party of 6 enjoyed what they ordered. As a larger party, we were seated towards the back, which always feels a bit isolated, but we were all able to be heard without having to talk too loud. Overall ambience was nicely upscale English pubby. I'm not sure it's a great value, but factor in the ability to park easily nearby then walk to the theater and I'd certainly return again for a pre-show meal.

    The food was very good, but the service was extremely slow. We were going to a 7:30pm show, and the server even asked us about it and said they'll make sure we leave by 7pm, which we appreciated. We ordered 3 appetizers and 1 main course to share at 5:20. We did not get our last appetizer until around 6:20, and did not get our main course until 6:50.... so we had 10 minutes to eat. We had to take a few bites and just take it to go. I overheard another table behind us who had the same issue so it seems to be a consistent problem, at least it was for that night. They sat down about 20 min after us, were going to the 7:30 show, and I saw them set they're entrees down as we were getting up to leave at 7. I feel 2 hours should have been plenty of time to have a relaxing dinner.

    One of the best dining experiences I’ve had. We had drinks upstairs in the Rookery as we were early for our reservation. Downstairs, seated for our reservation, the atmosphere was much quieter and delightful. Our server, Regina, was exceptional. She talked with us about the menus, sources, preparation, and gave us some wine insights. Two of us had venison, one pork shank, one beef filet, and all were delicious. Muscles to start were seasoned just right with broth and bread for dipping. Salads to share were fresh and just enough. Haven’t had butterscotch pudding in years, this one was a treat shared begrudgingly with the fam.

    We had a lovely experience at Raven & Rose. The food was spectacular and the service was superior. We had a special diet request and the server and kitchen were thorough in understanding our needs and created a delicious meal. Additional we were headed to a show and the server managed our dinning experience perfectly. Really, everything was perfect.
