We strive to create an experience that looks at the Southern dinner table through a new lens. Our menu offerings are rooted in southern comfort dishes but are elevated to a level that will excite today’s diner. They remind us of family meals around our dinner tables but over deliver complex flavors and stimulating presentations. Our guests are served by a staff of eager hospitality professionals capable of providing the backstories of dishes, suppliers and ingredients. Met with a friend for Sunday brunch. We had a wonderful meal. Our server, Robbie, was knowledgeable and pleasant. Our food was excellent! My friend had the shrimp omelette and I had the chicken and waffles. Serving size was a little on the large size, especially after the free buttermilk biscuit appetizer. But, both were delicious and came to the table piping hot. Our coffees and waters were kept topped off. We will be back!

Our server was wonderful- Knowledgeable with spot on suggestions. Brought and cleared dishes seamlessly in a timely but not rushed manner. The food and cocktails were amazing. Everything exceeded our expectations!

Quick lunch with some pals. Sampled some new dishes and revisited some familiar favorites. Chef Edward’s and crew consistently deliver creative, tasty food and drink. Graham was his usual flawless and personable server. Thanks guys.

A great experience, food, atmosphere and service all fantastic. Neely always takes great care of us and makes us feel special. Fun to have Scott welcome us in.

Good place to talk and reminensce . Old fashioned food and particularly liked fried oysters and fried okra. Next time I’ll try crispy chicken! Service was superb from a handsome caring waiter.

It’s really tricky in South Charlotte to find well sourced food like grass fed meat and wild caught fish plussss a good variety of gluten-free options! New South is our biggest go to because of these things! Service is always spot on too!
