   Although getting my $30 birthday gift card was a long nightmare, last night was wonderful and flawless. I am a trained Chef so I am picky. Everything on every level was perfect and a lot of fun. What a wonderful evening.

   A meal at Benihana is always an experience. Our server, Zach, was concerned that we were receiving excellent service. Our glasses were never empty and any service request was fulfilled. Our chef, Nick, was cordial and chatty regarding his background and his training at Benihana. Finally, the food was extraordinary and prepared to each person’s specifications. Already starting to plan our next adventure at Benihana!

   My reservation was confirmed for 7:15p. Upon arrival, I was informed we would not be seated until 8:30p. We ordered at 9p and didn't even eat until 9:30p which was over 2 hours after our reservation!!!! It was my daughter's 16th birthday and not acceptable. The restaurant said it was not their fault.

   Arrived on time for our 5pm reservation and had to wait over an hour to be seated. The restaurant manager was taking cash for tables. I saw it 3 times. Extremely unorganized.

   Went for mother's day lunch. We had a 1pm reservation and were told the wait would still be 35 to 50 minutes. They finally sat us after 90 minutes. Food was good especially the colossal shrimp and filet mignon. Hot tea was cold and server was overwhelmed. Outside garden waiting area had weeds and not maintained. Disappointing mother's day because we felt stuck with our restaurant choice.

   Mother's day and wait time was 30 min even though we had a reservation. Server was delayed on water refills but once the chef showed up after another 30 minor waiting at table it went pretty fast. So reservations was at 12:45, sat at 1:15 and didn't get out until 3:30pm that was 3 hours when we got there at 12:30. Next time will not being going during a special day. Food is of course great but wait time not cool.

   We waited 45 min past the reservation time to be seated then another 45 min for the chef to begin.

   I was disappointed with the lack of organization and communication from the hostess team during my recent visit. I had a reservation for 7:30 PM, but I was seated approximately two hours later. Throughout the wait, the hostess team appeared unprepared and unable to provide any clear answers or options to resolve the delay. Their lack of coordination and transparency significantly impacted my experience, and I hope they can improve their scheduling and communication to better serve future guests.

    We arrived on time for our 6:15 reservation, when we signed in we were informed that there would be a 45min-1 hour wait. We weren’t given any information in regards to why the wait was so long other than them saying “they were running behind.” The reservation we made was not honored at all and didn’t have any effect on our wait time. There was no point in even making the reservation just to wait that long. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else where we were sat within minutes. One of the worst experiences I’ve had with Benihana and I was very disappointed.
