My cocktail was great (the jam session), service was excellent with attentive and kind staff, but the food was lacking. The country ham wrapped peaches had thin warm ham wrapped around cold peaches that were not very ripe. The smash burger had a decent sauce on it but was otherwise dry. The hand cut papparadelle was awful and not something I expected with in-house pasta and an item that has been on the menu for many years. The pasta tasted overcooked and the dish had no flavor.

Had a dish which included braised lamb, but couldn’t have been more than 2-3 ounces. Mac and cheese was bland with vinegary smell. Steak was extremely fatty for $50. Service was excellent!

We go to the Marketplace often and have always enjoyed our food and our time there. This time we were there for my 70th birthday. I was disappointed in the food this time. The lamb dish was completely tasteless. The meat did not even taste like lamb. My friend’s pork was over cooked. Lastly, it seems as I was sitting there eating I felt cold drops of water fall on my shoulder. It told the waiter but he could not do anything. I shared it with the hostess. No one offered to help me move or give me an option. A discount of some may have been nice. I was sorry for this experience because it truly is a fine restaurant.

Incredible lamb bolognese. I mean incredible. Great wine list. Beautiful outdoor seating. Nice bar. Many other great options on menu.

We enjoyed our dinner at The Market Place. The food was fabulous, and the cocktails we chose were great as well, obviously well thought out and with that extra *something* to make them really special. I got the corn agnolotti and would love to be able to have the same dish again, and would recommend it for sure. We were also there for our anniversary and when we arrived there was a card with well-wishes waiting on our table! The service was a little slow even though it was not particularly crowded, which is the only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5.

My recent visit was unfortunately a letdown. Despite the appealing ambiance and friendly service, the food left much to be desired. The meal began with a "Tomato and Burrata Salad," which turned out to be more of a crouton salad. The so-called burrata was nothing more than a mozzarella cheese ball the size of a dime, hardly the creamy delight one would expect. The croutons overshadowed the meager tomato slices, making it a disappointing start. Next came the Crudo Tuna, which was more of a "Crudo Onion" than anything else. The tuna was so scarce that you’d need a magnifying glass to find it amidst the overwhelming amount of raw onion. This dish was more of a joke than an appetizer, leaving me unimpressed. My husband ordered the chicken, and to its credit, it was the highlight of the meal. The chicken was well-cooked and flavorful, but unfortunately, everything else on the plate was excessively salty. We weren't the only ones who noticed; other customers around us were also complaining to the waiter about the overpowering saltiness. While the service was polite and attentive, it wasn't enough to redeem the poor quality of the food. Overall, the dining experience at [Restaurant Name] was disappointing, and I’m not sure we’ll be returning.
