This was my friends’ first time at Mercato West, and they both really enjoyed it. Our waiter was very busy with multiple tables, so it took a bit to get drinks after we arrived. Once that wrinkle was ironed out, service was great. The food was well paced and not rushed. We probably ate too much, but it was all delicious. Arancini to start. Then the tagliatelle. Then the steak, Brussels sprouts. And the Caesar salad. All were delicious. We shared two desserts between three of us…the lemon cheesecake and the chocolate/hazelnut torte…more than enough. The wine was delicious, but probably overpriced considering I have several bottles of the same wine in my home cellar.

The service is amazing! They make you feel very special and the family style is such a unique experience. It is a bit loud when the restaurant is full, but the food and the service make up for it! Be sure to finish off with dessert! It is worth it.
